Pricey but Staying OEM is Good
I like to use OEM parts when fixing/replacing/maintaining most of the things I buy (ie. Computers, Phones, Furniture, etc), and my car is no different! I have a Subaru Forester and it's been going strong for ~100,000km/62,000miles by maintaining it well, and therefore I like to use OEM Subaru oil when doing my own oil changes. It is pricey when compared to other oils you can buy, and I don't have any objective data to say that my car wouldn't be running this well if I used something else, but I would def recommend if you're an OEM kinda person, and I will purchase again for sure!

Give your Subaru what itโs meant to have period
Clean OEM performance minded oil. Hey Iโm not outsmarting mechanical engineers that designed and function tested engines.Trust them, they picked this for a reason.

Not enough to completely fill 2015 Outback 2.5l, so order an addiitional quart
You really should use OEM whenever possible. With the quick delivery time and great price, choosing this price was a no brainier. The only problem was that I didn't order enough oil to completely fill my car: 2015 Outback 2.5l. That was my fault for not reading the manual first. You will need to order an additional quart along with this gallon.

Nat Gas oil
Watch the labelsSubaru has changed, true synthetic is Nat gas to oil and Subaru is outsourcing since market force changedThe Old "Genuine Subaru Certified Synthetic Motor Oil"The New is "Certified Synthetic Motor Oil"Do not pay premium for genericit a shame JAPAN the leaders in Quality Control (quality circles and TQM) again only Natural Gas makes pure synthetic and only by quality "like Subaru" was it assured.BSME, PhD.

It's only 4 quarts!
I purchased this product because I wanted to keep All Subaru parts for my new Outback. Didn't read carefully enough the description - it's only 4 quarts. Car requires 5 quarts. Just be warned. Still gave it 5 stars as it was my fault for not being a careful shopper.

and all the specs show that it is on par or better than other high quality oils
This is VERY high quality oil. Its made by Idemitsu here in the US, and all the specs show that it is on par or better than other high quality oils. Oh, it works awesome in Glocks too!
