Works a treat and 100% compatible with my Surface Pro
Bought this to connect my SP to the Ethernet at home as my Video calls were getting far to stuttery on Wifi alone. Totally compatible , very good value for money and not to obtrusive on the side so it allows the charge cable to still be connected. A great alternative to the offical costly version.

This topped working after only 2 months and I am not able to return it to either Amazon or the seller. What a complete waste of money

Its fine
It's fine does what it says wish everything wasnt finished in piano black, shows every tiny mark and scratches easily ,

Ports too close together
USB Ports are too close together to be able to use both with memory sticks

Wireless adaptor compatibility issues
It disables the wireless adapter on the surface, so is not usable if you are running a wireless connection.

Dock Connector Will Not Fit
I have only used it with the SD Card slot so far and it seems to work well โฆ however, though you can use the supplied Surface charger connector, if you have a Surface Dock, the connector will not fit which is disappointing
