Baofeng BF-888S Two Way Radio (Pack of 10) and USB Programming Cable (1PC)

This purchase was a must have for the cruise we just went on! We used them in lieu of cell phones within our large group of friends. We charged them at night when we slept and they were good for the whole day and never died. They all came with wrist straps which was convenient, it also had a clip (like a pager clip). Volume could be more than loud enough, the headphones would have been useful if we wanted to keep using them in a quiet area (but that never happened lol). Even when we docked in Grand Cayman and went a few miles down to 7 Mile Beach, I was still able to talk to someone who was on the ship. Here's a pic of my friend on the beach with me - directly above her in the horizon, below the yellow umbrella, you can see a cruise ship in the distance. Just for a visual! Had to hold down the talk button for a good second before I began to speak otherwise the beginning of what I said would be cut off if I pressed and began speaking simultaneously. That's probably the only drawback I can think of. But I haven't used any other walkies, so I'm not sure if that's how they all work. Very happy with this purchase!

My husband is vice president of our daughter's high school marching band boosters. They had twenty radios for the boosters to use, but it was determined that they needed more to replace some that had gone missing or failed. Each radio has it's own charger. It comes with a programming cable so you can set up the frequency to use. They can all use the same frequency or as in the case of the boosters, we have different frequencies for different needs. It comes with software so you can program them, but my husband found a different program that worked better in his opinion. The radios work well, as expected.

The radios are really really good! All of them worked perfectly... Long range, clarity, you name it! Couple of cons: The programming cable simply doesn't work (after a Lot of trying on different computers i've finally decided to check the cable itself And found out it was deffective a common thing to clone cables, they are all hit or miss) The other con is that 4 out of the 10 earpieces didn't work -no sound or garbled sound due to poor quality soldering on the speaker part. For the price still the radios were unbeatable, i'm willing to let go these small faults and buy again... I'll just not be a conciencious consumer if i didn't point out these little details.

These little radios are awesome!! And for a really great price. The frequencies that come with it, are not legal frequencies, and can find yourself with a $10,000 fine plus possible imprisonment if found using illegal frequencies in the US. As a licensed GMRS radio operator, I had a friend programmed these to FRS frequencies. Thankfully, these radios are considered legal when using FRS/GMRS frequencies, as the FCC has now allowed FRS frequencies to transmit up to 2W power (which previously you could only transmit at 0.5W power on FRS) - license free! And now, you can transmit on the GMRS frequencies up to 10W (previously 5W) - license required. You can technically program these radios to nearly any two-way radio frequency, even use them on Business frequencies- license required and a Tech Coordinator to program them.

I ordered a 10-pack of these radios for work in a gravel pit. Great sound, even with the headsets, and the range is great. One of the guys could hear us clearly from a delivery about 4 miles away. The only down side so far has been trying to attach the belt clips - you have to take out 2 screws, then screw the clips onto the radio, and several were so tight they actually stripped the screwdriver. Those ones just go into shirt/coverall pockets. Overall, very happy with these radios!

I use these on my car like definitely great bang for your buck they were amazing they help run my car lights so much more smoothly if you do get this I highly recommend buying extra antennas though the antennas break pretty easy besides that great bang for your buck and since you don't spend that much if you lose one it's no biggie if you have a small business this is a must-have item

I brought these for my job and I'll say that you get what you pay for. These are not bad radioes but they break easily and fall apart after a few months use. We have many employees who use them so I can't say that it's just the radioes, they also feel fragile. They do get the job done though and if your looking for budget radios these will do. We have purchased them in the past and will probably do so in the furniture

This is my second time buying a 10-pack of these Baofeng 888S radios. I bought them last year for my coaches to use for our summer camp program, and they worked great! When I bought another set of 10, the chargers for them came with Type C power plugs (used in like the UK and Asia) but I use the regular American Type A. I needed these in a rush and paid for 1 day shipping. But I guess the person who sent out the order, grabbed the wrong ones for me = not happy :( tldr: great radios, got sent the wrong chargers

Salieron muy buenos, funcionan muy bien y están muy resistentes. Tienen muuuuuy largo alcance y no se pierde la señal.

Este producto es bastante bueno ya tengo un buen tiempo utilizándolo y hasta el momento me ha respondido muy bien tiene un alcance aceptable alrededor de 6 kilómetros la batería dura bastante en general lo recomiendo ampliamente solo algunos detalles con una batería que no funciona y un par de manos libres que ya no funcionan pero en general los aparatos tienen una gran funcionalidad buen precio lo recomiendo ampliamente

Estética: buena Funcionabilidad: es fácil de usar no tiene mayor complicación Durabilidad: el material es de calidad media considéralos cambiar a mediano plazo en usos rudos Calidad: media Medida: buen tamaño para el uso diario Extras o ventajas: trae auriculares Relación precio/calidad: Excelente si compras varios en una sola compra.

Son buenos radios por un costo económico. En distancias cortas (alrededor de 500 mts a 1 km) suenan muy bien, se escucha claro y entendible, los manos libres son un plus atractivo, aunque realmente no los he usado mucho, por lo que no se si son buenos a largo plazo. En distancias largas (5 km) ya no tuvieron recepción, aunque realmente no necesito cubrir distancias tan largas, así que para el uso que requiero, son perfectos.

La verdad es que no tienen nada que pedirle a los motorola o kenwood, incluso, al ser programables, son compatibles con ellos.
