At $40, these were a great way to start. They work as advertised, and I haven't had any issues with auto focus on any of the lenses with which I have used them. I've tried it with my Nikon 35 mm prime lens, my Yongnuo 50 mm prime lens, and the two kit lenses that came with my camera. I attached the 70 mm - 300 mm lens to all three tubes and autofocus worked fine. Build quality is decent. They're plastic, but sturdy. The prime lenses are a bit tight when attaching, but they do click into place. The releases are OK, but it did take a little to get used to them. The first attached picture is a focus-stacked (4 images) shot of a coffee bean. I used my 35 mm lens with the 36 mm tube to get an almost 1:1 shot. I know it's a bit off in a couple of areas, but this was handheld and I was really just looking to see if the tubes worked as advertised. I'm happy to say they do.
