Solid GPS Unit for Omnibus F4
This is a nice little GPS unit. I got it connected to my Omnibus F4 Flight controller running iNav on my F450 quad. Mine has actually taken quite a beating and it still works fine. The only problem that I had with it was the little molex connector. It wouldn’t stay in for me and the wires kept falling out so I just ended up direct soldering the wires to those little solder holes on the PCB so now it’s working great without any disconnects! I highly recommend this GPS I’ll be buying another one for my next GPS build!

A bit thicker than others, but works well
I hooked this module up to my FC in my nazgul5. I did end up just cutting off the connector ends and soldering the wires directly to my FC because it had a different size connector than what is used on my FC, but I expected that I would have to do this so not a big deal.I purchased this module over others because it said that it has a compass in addition to GPS. Well I learned something new when attempting to setup this module for GPS rescue in betaflight. Betaflight doesn't use besides the initial coordinates to know it's home direction. Even if it might use that information as a secondary source for the home direction, I don't believe the compass is working because I am getting an I2C error in betaflight after installing. It's possible that I need a pull-up resistor on the sda pin, I dunno, my FC doesn't have very good documentation and the little that it does have doesn't show any need for a pull-up.So although I did manage to get GPS rescue to work for me, I believe it only uses coordinates to know the home direction and the compass really use.The other thing I will say is that it's a very thick module. I printed a TPU holder that fits on the arm and it barely clears the props. I am actually wondering if this is effecting my flight characteristics so I am considering relocating it to the rear end, I'm just avoiding having to print out a new TPU holder for the rear side with an additional area to house the GPS module. It does take about 2-4 minutes to get a good GPS lock outside, depending on where I am located. After it is warmed up though it can get another lock fairly quickly. Overall this works for me but if I had to do it over again I would probably go with a thinner one with just GPS.

It is a GPS module, not a flight controller.
Why this GPS module is referred to as a flight controller, I do not know, but it is a good small GPS module. I have it connected to a Furious F35 flight controller running INAV and while I had to splice the connecting wires (5v, gnd, Rx & Tx) the wires were clearly indicated and it acquired 9 satellites indoors within 8 to 10 minutes. I had ro monkey with the magnometer settings on the INAV configuration tab to get the proper heading in my FPV's OSD, but once I found a YouTube video on the process, (Project Blue Falcon) the unit worked like a champ. Good price, good value, small and light weight, and it performs well. You'll need a bit of soldering skill, shrink tubing and a wire stripper but it is a easy learning curb.

Bought 2.... 1 sorta works, the other failed and no longer gets sats, no compass
EDIT: After relocating the GPS 1 did pick up satellites the other one (the one that dropped sats and caused the drone to fall out of the sky was previously mounted on top of the battery in full view of the sky) still doesn't pick them up. the compass still does not work on either inav nor betaflightBought 2, i wired them to a f405 Mk2 fc, the first one worked for the first flight... enabled gps return and half way back it lost gps fix and the drone dropped like a rock, never got a gps fix again, ordered another one thinking i damaged it, it's been connected to power for the last 45 minutes, still no gps sats... what the hell man....also magnetometer didn't work on either, using betaflight it is not detected, no i2c errors, just as if its not even there

If you're worried about losing your investment this it is a good solution
This products works great in rescue mode to bring the Drone right back your direction... I've lost three nice racing quads in the past and I feel pretty good about this not happening again with this GPS...You will probably want to use the BN-220 GPS if you don't have the SDA/SCL pads on your flight controller but the bn-880 has a compass which well give you a little more precision in it returning back where you armed it but both work pretty dang good and from a person that lost 3 racing quads I feel a lot better having these on my quads and back to Flying the way I like too....

These rock.
Fast lock even indoors. For whatever reason the compass on these works well without being 10 freaking inches from the rest of the wiring. Half that distance with no problems, so far......

Did not function
May have been my own doing, but it never worked. The wiring was correct.Got another one if the same variety from elsewhere and it worked on my existing connection. This one was a dud.Waited too long to install it and missed my return window.

Banging fast with Gallileo at 10hz
Unbelievably great and excellent accuracy with real 10 hz updates. it's probably the best you're going to find. Though it does draw noticeably more power than the others that run at 5hz (with Gallileo).
