My wife has bilateral rotator cuff tears and icing does seem to help. It was always difficult to apply cold packs to the area and secure them so that they stayed in place . This works perfectly and the cold pack stays cold and the reversibility allows her to do both shoulders during one session.

After reading negative reviews and hesitating to order this item, I am very happy I did. The brace is adjustable and unlike some reviews state, it is NOT too big for women or smaller people. The ice pack does get cold enough and I can't help but wonder that those who stated it is not cold enough were wearing it over a thick sweater or jacket. I use it over a shirt and it is cold enough. As for the gel pack not form-fitting: if you gently mold the gel pack after inserting it into the brace, it almost perfectly molds around your shoulder, and after a few minutes it fits even better. I am also able to put it on only using one hand. I recommend this product if you are looking for relief related to frozen shoulder, and shoulder impingement or after shoulder surgery.

This device worked really welldvd was easy to use even with a hurt shoulder. My only complaint is that the gel pack loses temperature pretty fast. I just made a heat pack out of a stock and buckwheat to fix it.

Most ice pack braces need a lot of fiddling and even then they don't fit quite right. This is an exception to that rule. This brace is very easy to use, but if you have questions, the instructions are clear and you can reach out to the manufacturer with a QR code and get the answers you need.There are multiple ways to adjust the straps on this brace, which ensures that the ice stays where you need it. The straps are easy to use and not at all fussy. They attach by velcro, but are not so long that they dangle. The velcro seems sturdy, although I just received the brace. If I have problems with the velcro in the future, I will update this review.Unlike a lot of ice pack braces, this does not take up a lot of room in your freezer. The flexible ice pack is removable and if you order an extra one, you can switch them out and keep your shoulder cold. (The directions say to keep the ice on your shoulder for no more than 20 minutes and then off for at least an hour. My understanding from a physical therapist is that this is to prevent inflammation.)The ice pack can also be used as a heat pack. The instructions for using it a a heat pack are clear, but the warning that the pack could easily leak if overheated has kept me from trying it as a heat pack. Also, I don't have the patience to check the heat pack every 5 seconds while it is in the microwave.I've been icing my shoulder with various other ice packs and none of them have been as comfortable or as effective as this ice pack brace.

Love it for the light comfortable feel and easy to adjust straps. Bought for relief of rotator cuff issues untill my appointment. Great product. And I love the color.

Is somewhat large for a woman. Works great if you only need it as a heating pad or ice pack. Does nothing to secure the shoulder in any way. May be because it was so big but says can fit women but way to big for me.

UPDATE: I've used this product now for a while and I find it helps my upper arm and shoulder immensely. It stays cold enough that you're not over doing the cold therapy. So that's a good thing if you fall asleep with it on you're not overdoing the chill. END OF UPDATE/I have some kind of tendonitis, bursitis or 9something in the upper outside portion of my arm that is extremely painful. It's also mostly immobile. This is a one size fits all item. A little confusing on how to get the whole thing situated. Turns out that it really wasn't that difficult, the confusing came on my part. The ice pack that comes with it gets really cold, and it will give your shoulder and upper arm a good chill. I've only ice packed it once, there is a little bit ease of pain. Then again I really don't use it much these days. I'm also using it as a support because I just had knee replacement surgery and I'm sleeping in a recliner. One night the pain woke me up because my shoulder had dropped to the side. I'm hoping that the more I treat it with the ice pack the better it'll get. I'll update as I use it.
