Most Items I purchase on Amazon I give a 4 stars rating. This is a simple tool to use in my kitchen. I was concerned by the picture I saw that the server would be too big for pie slices. I was wrong. I tested a "sliver" of pie- using this server and did not fall off. A very large piece of pie served easily also. Might I mention, I was surprised to see several of the pie/cake servers with a serated edge. I have never used a server with a serated edge and was concerned that I might cut myself on one. I am happy to have this pie server that works well for serving dessert.

This is an inexpensive pie server. Sturdy and well built especially for the price. No serrated edges, but how tough is the pie your are trying to serve? The metal isn’t flimsy and with moderate pressure it goes through thick side crust. It’s the perfect size to lift out the first slice without tearing up the uncut pie. Perfect for using especially at the reasonable price. I recommend hand washing to preserve the wood handle.

Gift to a friend who did not have a pie server. Nice quality and easy grip. She loved it.

Just as described perfect weight and size for my needs cake pie pan it fits great and well made

This server was just right! I wanted a white handle for a baby shower, so I decorated it with a nice bow and some baby charms to make it pretty, and it performed wonderfully. Sometimes slicer/servers are too thick and don't really facilitate keeping the cake clean and neat looking, but this one did as nice a job as could be expected when slicing and serving a sheet cake. I really like the clean look, and the fact that its presentation was nice for what I needed it for. I would recommend it and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to purchase one again.

The cake cutter I ordered for my wedding arrived loose in a bag and dirty. It also had a sticker on it that has been impossible to clean off completely.

Well made, but they could pay more attention to the finish on the wood handle. After washing it once the finish lifts and gets really rough. It was always hand washed and never left to soak in the water. I decided to lightly sand the wood handle and refinish it myself. I have no idea what they are doing to "finish" the wood handle, but it is not working well. I lightly sanded it, wiped it with Walnut Stain and sprayed it with a Varathane type clear finish. Looks really good now. Rated a "4" because of this.
