If you're looking to add a beautifully clear, glossy, UV stable coating to your artwork, drawing or other creative projects then Resin4Decor offers unsurpassed performance coupled with incredible ease-of-use for perfect results. Resin4Decor is a two-part epoxy resin with 2:1 mix ratio by volume or weight. If any air bubbles do appear, a light breath over the piece is usually all that's required to release them. - Resin4Decor is easy to use, simply mix, pour and cure. - Resin4Decor is non-yellowing. - Resin4Decor is non-toxic and safe to use. Although Resin4Decor is non-toxic, you should still always follow common sense safety precautions; wearing gloves and work in a well ventilated area. How much resin will I need? For solid surfaces, it's easy to calculate the amount of resin you'll need to cover a given area. For uneven surfaces or those including embedments like pennies, crushed glass or bottle tops; some compensation will be required. 1kg = 1mm over 1sqm Attention!!! Our low viscosity resin has a particular feature of crystallising at low temperatures, but this is a reversible process and does not affect the quality of the resin in any way! If you noticed some sort of cloudiness or if the resin is not clear, all you have to do is heat it up to 40-50 degrees and it will turn crystal clear again! MEASURE Measure 2 resin parts and 1 hardener part into a mixing cup. The Try Kit covers cca 0.75 sq.m, the Small Kit covers cca 1.0 sq.m, the Gallon Kit covers cca 3.75 sq,m, the Medium Kit covers cca 7.5 sq,m MIX Stir thoroughly for at least 3-4 minutes . To ensure proper mixing, scrape the sides and bottom else unmixed material develops. Unmixed material will cause sticky spots that would be difficult to cure. After mixing the resin and the hardener, it takes a working time of about 45 minutes (or 15 minutes* ) for the plot to thicken and cure. * - for 12h curing time version. POUR When satisfied you have mixed properly, pour the RESIN4DECOR over your work. Although it will level and form on its own, you may need to spread it around into place. You can also let the resin run over the edges of your work, and simply touch it up using a brush. Bubbles will soon begin to rise to the surface. Blow gently on bubbles or use a torch. WAIT To cure effectively and for best results, RESIN4DECOR needs to sit for a few hours after which you may need to pour a second coat. After 8 hours, the coat gets tacky and you can pour a second coat. In about 12 hours (6 hours*), the coat should be dry and within 24 hours (12 hours*), the cure should almost be done. But not drying for 4,5days now. Do you know why?** A: I have had exactly the same issue. I measured it out right but I didn't mix the resin and hardener together long enough. I only mixed them for about 1 minute, now I always mix for at least 5 to 6 minutes and I have had great results **Q: Hi, can this resin be coloured, and with what?** A: Mica powders and resin pigments. **Q: Is this heatproof please? Can this be used as a casting resin - for spheres and pyramids too? x** A: Yes and yes! I’ve made a fair few spheres - I would suggest using them with alcohol inks / mica powder as it tends to yellow over time. Unless it’s their new resin. **Q: How do I get rid of the tiny tiny little air bubbles?
