IKEA - KALAS Children Color Bowls

We've been using these every day for 7 months now and they still look new after repeated use and washing at high heat in our dishwasher (top rack). I've washed them a few times on the bottom rack too and they came through just fine. I love these bowls because they are a thick plastic that I'm not worried about breaking if my daughter drops them. She loves the bright colors. They match the Ikea plates, utensils, etc. that we also have. Although I haven't tried I wouldn't recommend cutting anything with a knife in the bowl because I am sure it would score like the plates do. My only slight complaint is that since the bowl isn't totally rounded (bottom is flat) I still have to help her get out the last few spoonfuls of the yogurt, oatmeal, etc. We have one or two rounded bowls with the suction cups (which don't work by the way) and she has an easier job getting the food out of the rounded bowl. I think this is a very small issue though and I would still highly recommend these bowls and purchase them as gifts for other people.

Very pleased with this purchase! I am using them for portion control. The colors are pretty and pleasing to the eye. Sturdy plastic and easy care. Also perfect for children learning to eat on their own.

These bowls are exactly what I was looking for. I needed bowls for my 2 year old daughter. They are the perfect size! I love using them for cereal especially. The flat bottom means that I can use less milk so less mess. She can easily get her cereal onto her spoon by pushing it up against the side of the bowl. They are nice quality and have lasted through several dishwasher rides and still look brand new. My daughter also love the bright colors. Highly recommend these bowls!

Perfect size for kids under the age of 8. Was tired of food getting wasted using standard size bowls. These colorful bowls help keep portions into perspective. Fit perfectly for little hands. Easy to wash. I hand wash my dishes but these would be fine to put in dishwasher. Thick structure, not flimsy at all.

Excellent for toddler snacks at home or on the go!

I bought these for my toddler to replace the Munchkin brand bowls that were getting worn out. They are cute and made of durable plastic. I also use them for myself for portion control of my snacks, and they’re great fruit bowls. After several months of use and washing in the dishwasher, they still look brand new. My only gripe about them is that they’re kinda pricey. The day after they arrived, I went to Walmart and found a set of small colorful plastic bowls that looked almost identical, for around $2. I probably wouldn’t buy again knowing this, but I also don’t think I will need to buy them again because they’ll last a long time.

We are seniors. I bought several sets. Great colors. We use these for desserts, microwaving small amounts, melting butter, dips, etc. Dishwasher on top shelf the come out fine. Love.

On my opinion The Best in its segment (and price wise). I was presented a set of KALAS plates and ended up buying full set (plates,bowks, forks/knives, cups). I could have avoided buying so much 'garbage' if bought it from the begining.

I bought a set to use for my cats feeding bowls, I found them a purrrfect size for them, great size to store away and so easy to clean, people with animals know that dried animal food is like concrete to remove but not on these bowls. So I quickly bought another set. Really pretty pastel colours too.

Great bowls they hold up really well been using for well over a year now. In dishwasher and microwave the only issue is teeth marks from dog getting them. Asides from that recommend the bowls. Not the dog haha They're good portion sizes for kids cereal and other meals
