I gave three stars because the product looked like the picture and it was easy to get a full refund. The millimetre measurements reflect the diameter of the flare, not the part that sits in your ear. So if you wear a 12mm gauge and order this size, the flare would be 12mm and your earrings wouldnt stay in. You cant wear o-rings with this style, either. I didnt bother measuring the middle of the earring but it was much smaller than what i needed. If the seller corrected the sizing, these would probably be fine. I didnt try them on so i cant speak to comfort.

I ordered these to replace some (very) old plugs, one of which I'd lost. I wear them all the time, taking them out only to clean them, or if I'm going out and want something fancier. I'm going to get years of wear from these simple, comfortable, and economical plugs, and couldn't be happier!

Honestly I bought these cause they were the only ones I could find in a 2 and I was sizing down from 0. I have always preferred wood although I have very sensitive skin and am allergic to metal so I wanted to find something that would work. These are nothing fancy but they work really well. They stay in nice but aren't too hard to take out, they are also really lightweight and seem to be good quality especially for the price. Would definitely recommend trying them out!

Like some others have mentioned, The outside of the taper is sigificantly larger than the inside so if your order your actual gauge size, it will be very difficult to put these in. I ended up sanding down one side of each gauge to get them in and out. They look great and I expect them to last a while though. Can't beat it for the price.
