Was a bit skeptical because the price was cheap. It is a great great quality.

Looks just like the photos, stayed on my head the whole time (without any bobby pins), and was comfortable. Other grads commented that they wished they had my tam instead of the university-supplied ones, which were more expensive. Yes, the tassel does not move. This is intentional, as you don’t need to move it; you will be hooded instead.

Too big for my head. The adjustable band is for enlargement. It's OK, and the texture seems warm. I will say it's good quality. The only default I see is on the size. It's too big and no-good adjustment option.

I had to very quickly order these tams because our university had messed up our tam rental, and I was a tiny bit nervous given that these had fewer reviews than other options. BUT, these were absolutely perfect! They fit well and looked amazing. They actually looked identical to the expensive ones that come with "official school regalia". I was super pleased and would definitely recommend this tam!

Literally the same thing my friend got from our university bookstore, but like 50 times cheaper. I also now have it hanging on the corner of my diploma and it looks sick

My mom recently graduated with her PhD and I wanted to get her a cap since her graduation was postponed due to COVID-19. The hat fits well and had an adjustable Velcro band.

The “velvet” was kind of shiny. It was adequate for what I needed but not the absolute best looking tam in comparison with my classmates’ more expensive versions.

I am returning this because the gown that I ordered came with a tam. This tam, like the one I ordered has a tassel that is fixed onto the cap. It doesn't move.
