I love these!!
I love these! I've used them nearly every single night for audiobooks since I bought my first pair in Jan 2025. I bought a 2nd pair bc I want to make sure I have a backup - don't want to ever be without them! My first pair broke after 1 week - the cord came apart from the earbud part. The company immediately sent me a replacement pair of the headphones part (I still had the fabric band so I just replaced them.) The only thing I had to adjust was to sew a bit of the headband part bc it was too loose for me. Once I did that - perfection! Sound quality is really good considering these are less than $10. I'm actually surprised they've lasted a year and a half with no sign of any issue.

Super comfortable - albeit a bit too large for my head
I love these headphones and the idea behind them. They are very cozy, comfortable, and I think having the headband over my ears makes me sleep a ton better too. I got these because my roomie was complaining about my alarm in the morning and I need to be able to hear the alarm or I will not wake up. These definitely solve the problem, and is more effective because the alarm noise is right in my ears. My only gripe is that they are too big. They slide off my head every night when I’m sleeping if my hair is up and I always sleep with my hair in a bun, my hair is super long and annoys me to sleep with it down. The speakers also shift quite a bit making me have to continuously readjust them which is annoying because they don’t move easily within the band. I will have to take the band in somehow but it’ll be tricky to do without messing up the head phone adjustability. It would be nice if these came in different sizes. I think overall it’s worth it but I will be checking out some other brands to see if I can find a better fit. The alarm will be useless if the headband keeps falling off and I can’t even hear the alarm lol

GAMECHANGER
These are genius! I bought my first pair of these several years ago because I was tired of trying to fall asleep next to my ex while he listed to Howard Stern. I mean, think of the worst sounds to try to fall asleep to and I bet you that the Howard Stern show is near the top of the list. But he loved it and did not want to compromise (hence one of the reasons he is now my ex). I bought him regular headphones but they just wouldn't work because he was a side sleeper and they dug in to his head. Then I tried earbuds for him but by morning time they had fallen out and then it was always a scramble to try to find where they fell and hope that the cat hadn't batted them in to an abyss. So then I came across this and it seemed too good to be true! It fit super comfortably, allowed him to move without it poking him in his head, and stayed on throughout the night. It was a game changer! He got to listen to Howard Stern lull him to sleep and I didn't have to hear it! Highly recommend! I also recently purchased this for my father who is in a nursing home and bed bound. He has trouble hearing and has a Pocket Talker to amplify others in to a set of headphones that he wears. The typical headphones were uncomfortable and kept poking him and earbuds hurt the inside of his ears but this headband works like a charm. He can get repositioned and it will stay in place, it doesn't poke him anywhere, and most importantly it allows him to hear us talking to him! I can also see where this would work well at a gym, on a run or bike ride, on a plane or really any activity where you want comfortability and assurance that you won't lose an earbud!

Improvements are needed, but decent for small heads!
Making a headset that fits like a headband is a great idea. I like to doze off with audiobooks and interviews, and I was getting a bruised ear from attempting to nestle my ear and head in the pillow with an ear bud or headphone cup cutting into my cartilage. That problem is solved completely-- I now have zero discomfort from the relatively flat speakers. The sound quality is good for what the headphones are expected to be, at least for me. These are not Bose super-duper headphones, nor shouls anyone expect pro sound from economy prices. However, the speakers (circular earphones, like in 90s headphones) are housed in a headband with a slit in the fabric that allows for an enraging experience trying to position them, or, perish forbid, rotate them inside the band if they're upside-down. Furthermore, the band is so tight on my head that my earlier-mentioned pain has been traded for a dull ache. I've resorted to stretching out the fabric as much as possible when I washed it (also a pain, since you have to remove/replace the headphone/speakers using the terrible slit in the fabric). I'd wear this band OVER an actual headband so it doesn't get dirty as quickly-- it's a pain to wash for all of these reasons. This is a potentially-good product with need for improvement in some main areas: - make the headband 20% larger (hat size) and adjustable using a reverse velcro strap or large velcro pressure-patch. - create two velcro tabs inside on the corners of the slit, or some way to create a flap that opens and closes to more-easily remove the speakers. - find a way to keep the ear phones in place other than pain-inducing pressure; possibly a velcro ring around each ear cup, which is put in place by the buyer. - These improvements would be worth at least another $5-10 in the unit price, if DONE WELL.

Actually don't like these at all...
I liked this item at first, but after a month of using them, I hate them. When side sleeping, the topside earphone is lifted to high off the top ear for the sounds to be feeding equally into both ears - inconvenient if you're using binaural beats for sleep. The worst part about this headband, is how loose it is combined with how it fits -- to get it fitted squarely over my ears, the headband comes down over my eyes. It's a constant struggle of adjusting the fitting over my ears but trying to keep the band out of my eyes as much as possible.

Lightweight and cooler than other wider, fleece models
I have been wearing these headphone bands almost nightly for the past 5 years. This is the third brand I have tried and these are my favorite. The material is lighter and cooler than my two previous fleece versions. The band is also not as wide which adds to the comfort. I was surprised by some of the negative reviews, but I think some people might mistake these as "noise canceling" head phones that can block out loud noises like snoring. The best feature about this style of headphone is how comfortable they are for side-sleepers. If you are using an iphone with these to listen to a podcast or a "white noise" app the fact they are attached to a cord might be an issue. Because I use them with a square 6th generation Nano (about the size of an Apple watch) I can just keep in in a small front picket on my nightgowns or pjs so the fact it's connected to a cord is not a problem. I agree with another reviewer that when you use these sleep headphones while playing a white noise, music or a podcast then while also wearing a pair of foam earplugs you can really mask the other noises that can disrupt your sleep. Because my husband sleeps with foam earplugs himself I don't know if the volume level I need so I can hear earplugs. Obviously because I am wearing foam ear plugs I have the volume louder than regular users. Because my husband also sleeps with foam earplugs I can't really comment about how much sound, if any, can be heard coming from these headphones by anyone else sharing the bed. I appreciated the other reviewers suggestions to tighten the headband to fit better on smaller heads, but I didn't have any problem with the band being too loose. My sleep headband is 22 inches (55.88cm) in diameter. In case it will help someone determine how this will fit for them my head is exactly 22 inches around using a tape measure just above my eyebrows. Over time with my nightly use the internal wires of my previous brands have become damaged right at the point where the headphones connect to my Nano. I will begin to get sound from only 1 earphone. Although I can initially correct this by manipulating the cable my other 2 brands eventually got to the point where only one speaker will play. I see on this new pair of CozyPhones there is some added reinforcement to the cable around the very end that connects to your device . Hopefully with this added stability I will get longer-lasting performance from this brand. They state in their product description "will not kink, twist or break under normal use" and they have a !00% satisfaction guarantee so if I encounter a problem I will update my review if needed. The little travel bag was a nice added touch! The price of these sleep headphones have fallen over the past several years so it is certainly worth the $20 cost to get a better night's sleep.

Frayed in less than a month, band was loose, but the speakers are useful.
I sleep with an audio book every night to help me get to sleep. I've tried a lot of different types of headphones and these by far seem the LEAST damaging to my hearing and most comfortable. Too bad they frayed in less than a month and the head band isn't adjustable. PROS: - Seem less bad for your long term hearing - You don't put them in your ears, so you don't have to worry about an over-cranked volume inside your ears nightly. - Washable - The speakers come out so you can wash the band. - Comfy - Compared to earbuds, which hurt if you sleep on your side, you're able to sleep, toss and turn without readjusting the earphones or removing one. - Lycra is nice and a little less bulky than the purple fleece, neither seemed to be too warm to sleep in. CONS: - FRAY - We have two pairs, one with purple fleece and one black lyra and the lyra one has frayed. The thread wrpped cord has a fray an inch above the audio jack, it's an odd place to fray since there's no reason for perpetual wear there. The cord is intact, but the thread wrpping it has frayed, we bought these on Aug 2nd so, it's been less than a month. - Not Adjustable Size - Tight or loose depending on your head size. The lyrca version is slightly looser compared to the purple fleece. It's been loose and falls off. Which makes this one only useful if you lay on or side, needs size adjusting Velcro like other reviews mentioned. - Speakers move around - sometimes the speakers move around inside the band, while I toss and turn. This isn't a big deal but you do have to readjust occasionally. Only annoying if you are trying to adjust while trying to stay sleepy. Alternative placement tip: If you are a side sleeper, and the speaker ear resting on the pillow is too loud or uncomfortable, just wear slightly diagonally. Kind of like a jaunty hat, tilted to favor the ear not on the pillow and above the ear resting on the pillow. This way the side with the speaker on the side pillow is on the side of your head above the ear and the hair tucked behind your ear, the other speaker should still cover the ear not resting on the pillow. If you are looking for an instant sleep kit.... You can pair with a cute mp3 player and free audiobooks from LibraVox. This is the cute mp3 player, it's perfect for JUST this use, has a sleep timer shut off and I don't worry about sleeping next to my phone every night: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y1GX5BH/

Helped me get a full night's sleep
Shipping/Packaging: fast, with Amazon Prime; arrived in a sealed pouch and headphones/band come with their own cloth storage pouch Fit/Material: I have an average adult head and these fit fine, not loose, not tight. First wear, it doesn't feel like something that will "stretch out" unless I pull on it to stretch it; it fits just in-place enough so that it's comfortable. Younger/Smaller people will likely have to adjust to fit. For me, the speakers were fine where they were; when I lay down I have to push them a little into place but its not a big deal at all, just an adjustment (the vendor does include a little note with the product with instructions on how to get the perfect fit for you.) The material is kind of like workout-clothes material. I often get really, really hot at night and even sweat and I was concerned that something on my head would feel suffocating but not the case. I knew I was wearing the CozyPhones and I could feel the speakers but this was not a disturbance at all and the headband stayed in place the whole night. The cord did not get in my way but I don't move around much while I sleep. Sound: good! Maybe it's because the speakers are so close to my ears that I'm going to hear the sound regardless, but the sound quality was good and no issue with the volume. I was concerned about having direct sound into my ear while I slept so I also wore ear plugs and still, the music was clear and volume was to my liking. FYI: I put on a Spotify Sleep Playlist, so it was just sounds - water, soft instrumental, etc. Anyway, for $14 (that's what I paid), these are awesome and they really helped to block out outside noise with the music and ear plugs combination enough so that I could finally sleep. I was still able to hear the alarm clock. I am very happy that this product exists and that it improved my sleep last night and I hope that with proper care they will last a long time.

Very good headphones for sleeping (just slightly too big)
A friend recommended headphones such as these for listening to music or podcasts in bed, and I chose the CozyPhones ( CozyPhones Sleep Headphones & Travel Bag , Lycra Cool Mesh Lining and Ultra Thin Speakers. Perfect for Sleeping, Sports, Air Travel, Meditation and Relaxation - BLACK ) because the material of the headband seemed light and cool. I'm very happy with the purchase and I would recommend this product. I did worry about the cable getting tangled around me, but this hasn't been a problem. The headband is comfortable, the sound quality is good, the travel bag for the headphones is very useful. The only thing that could be better, for me, is the size of the headband, which is slightly too big for my head, which causes it to move a bit when I turn my head against my pillow. However, I still gave it the 5 stars, because the headphones work well enough otherwise.
