The tulip hood can also pop out (using tiny fitted metal bearings) to be reversible - and this feature also allows it be hand-rotated to the desired position to reduce sun glare after focusing; very nice design and quality. The rubber hood is also fantastic and well-made. The lens cap is an added bonus. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product Two Years Later *by on Reviewed in the United States November 27, 2025* I have used two of these lens hoods, one for a 15-45mm kit lens, and one for a 55-200mm lens. After two years of regular use, both hoods and both caps still work great. The lens caps are tethered which is an essential feature for photographing sports or nature. I purchased the 72mm package. The only reason a star was docked is that the tether elastic to go around the lens was not large enough for the 72mm. The joiner split from the elastic and is no longer tight in the lens. Luckily the hood holds it on.
