Beautifully crafted sword
What a gem of a find. The sword is perfectly balanced and has a good feel to it. It isn't one of those flimsy WUSH type swords that wobble back and forth. The blade has a nice design and stiff. I practice with it doing Tai Chi sword and Kung Fu sets. I got the 32 inch as it feels right for me.

Very pleased with this sword! Great quality and balance!
Very pleased with this sword! Made very well with great balance. It has a dragon and constellation of the big dipper engraved on one side of the blade. Good quality stainless steel with flexibility and mirror finish. Easy to wipe clean after practice and keep in beautiful condition. I am 5'5" and the 28" blade is perfect for me. The zipper on the carrying case it came with was cheap and has already broken after a few months of use, but the sword and sheath are perfect and well worth the price. I wasted my money buying another cheaper sword before I found this one. I recommend this one to others, and received many compliments on it. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful Well Made Sword
I have the 28" sword. I like the overall artistry and craftsmanship of the sword. Mine came with a beautiful red double knot tassel. I've been searching for a well balanced Tai Chi sword. This one is fairly close. If the brass pommel was a bit heftier, it would be perfectly balanced. The wooden hilt fits my hand well. I wish the brass cross guard was a bit wider to better accommodate my fingers during my Tai Chi sword set. The stainless steel blade is beautifully polished and inscribed with a symbolic big dipper and Chinese characters which I don't know what they mean. The blade has a nice flex, but to too flexible. The wooden sword case is beautiful with carved brass locket and chape. I would buy this again.

I love this sword and use it every day.
I love this sword. The blade is stainless steel and is flexible. The weight is perfect for me and balance makes it one of my favorite swords. It is a good looking sword too, the markings on the blade make you want to display it outside of the scabbard. But still, the scabbard is so nicely decorated that it looks great either way. If you have never had a flexible blade sword and are serious about getting your technique as good as you can, then I would suggest getting one. If you do the movements right, the blade will not wobble around much at all. But if you are sloppy, then it does. You might be surprised at how challenging and addictive it is to use. One more thing I want to say about is that the sword locks into the scabbard nice and tight. Oh, and it comes with a very nice carrying case that has zippers and extra pockets inside and out.

Great piece of equipment
I've used every model of Chinese straightsword over several decades and own dozens of different types. The price point has been pretty stable over the decades at around $100 for a decent-looking performance sword. I also wield 2lb and up, but I also always work with the light blades because in the Republican era light spring steel blades were favored. The quality on this model is superior for that price-point. Nice heavy handle. Balance is good, not too close to the guard so there's some feeling in the blade. Gives it a sweet action that makes it a pleasure to wield. I bought two!

Canvas carrying case poorly made
The sword and sheath are very nice. I use it for Tai Chi sword training. The canvas carrying case is very poorly made. The seams are not sealed/stitched properly so the zipper gets stuck. My first carrying case the zipper was broken upon delivery. The second one works for now.

Great for beginners
I was impressed with this sword as soon as I opened the package. It was wrapped well and came with a carry bag and tassel. This is great for someone just starting Tai Chi sword and will give you incentive to stick to your training. Balance is good as is the quality. If you are serious about Tai Chi sword and don't want to start with something cheap which you may regret later, then I recommend you try this sword. Blade is 32". overall is 41". I am 5'11" so length is fine for me. As you progress you may look at some more professional / expensive, but for starters OK! P.S. I would not use this for cosplay. Thanks

Excellent quality. It's beautiful. The rose wood is so nice. The blade is stunning.
I love this sword. It is my first tai chi sword and I couldn't be more pleased with the beauty and quality of it. It has some weight to it, but it is still easy to maneuver. I start my training for the 32 tai chi sword tomorrow. Sorry for my video quality. Didn't really prepare, was just so excited about getting my new sword.
