Q: What is the expiration date?

Every specific packaged batch ought to have the expiry date on it. Have you checked yours? They will vary based on when ordered. Hopefully, the manufacturer will respond to your question. To sell products commercially in the USA, the date of expiration is required. I can attest that this is a good cordyceps spore powder. I have used reishi powders since late 2015. This one is quite fine, has no mustiness to the odor, and obviously its adaptogenic and ant--Herxheimer detox power is strong.

Q: Should the powder be stored in the refrigerator once opened?

No, it just needs to be stored in a dry place and sealed in a bag

Q: Does this product come alone with a spoon?

Hi, thank you for your question, this item doesn't come with a spoon Since reishi spore powder is a mushroom supplement , it's not like a drug that has a mandatory dosage. Therefore, the dosage of each dose should not be very accurate. It is usually 2-7g per day, which is ok. It should be added according to your own needs.

Question 1

What heavy metal contamination levels are present? do you have a msds that indicates how much of each metal is present in this product (lead)?

Accepted Answer

Thanks for the interesting of our mushroom powder!
You have asked a very important question, our mushroom plantation is deep in "Ta-Pieh" mountains of China where have the best air quality and far from the lowland industrial cities. Ta-Pieh mountain is also known as the last virgin forest in east China. We make double tests of heavy metals, first, we test water and soil, we use spring water for irrigation, we also test the soil to make sure there is no pesticide residue, second, we test the heavy metals during production and packaging. So you don't have to worry about the heavy metals of our products.
For lead, the reishi spore powder tested at < 0.1ppm. Our testing results are far below the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) guidelines for heavy metals, which is in compliance with California’s Prop 65.
The following is the content of other metals we tested:
Mercury (Hg) < 0.09ppm.
Arsenic (As) < 0.003ppm.
We also have MSDS and other test reports, If you can provide your contact information, we can send it to you.
