Do not press hard and use at a 45 degree angle in direction of the hair growth, simple. Made sure my face was clean, just with water and my face was dry, then used the razor all over my face, afterwards I dabbed on aloe vera gel and I have no reactions, cuts or anything. Stung slightly afterwards, more so when applied the aloe vera gel but seriously my face is fine. I have sensitive skin, but no spots or acne, and post menopausal hair issues but no reaction. To be honest the razors themselves should not cause a reaction, unless you are allergic to the metal used in the blade. Any reactions will be from exposed pores and either touching / rubbing your face without washing hands, or sweating heavily. As with all types of hair removal you are leaving your skin exposed for at least 24 hours until it can get back to normal. Wish I had waited later to do it now, as thought if had a reaction before xmas wanted to make sure I had time to clear up. But now cannot dermaplane again until approx 4 weeks.
