I found this Alarm easy to fit and put up on the ceiling. Quality seems good. So convenient to have a joint Alarm and the fact the battery lasts approx 10 years. Instructions easy to read and follow. Difference in bleeps for Smoke and Carbon Monoxide. Easy to test by a push button. Very happy with my purchase.

This a replacement for our old Fireangel Smoke alarm, this is a well established brand so no doubt this will work BUT the unit emit a very bright green flash every 40s to let you know it is active, at night it feel like you are having a lighting strike where the dector is (by our bedroom door) and this is very annoying, unfortunately not highlighted in the maker description, people did mentioned but you won't realise how bright this is untill you activate/fit it. It is a good idea to have a visual signal that the detector is active but badly excecuted, much too bright.

This comes with all the bits and instructions to use. I put it up in a couple of minutes, and it's fit and forget. There's a flash every minute or so to let you know it's working, but it's not intrusive. Obviously I can't speak to battery life yet, but the last Fire Angel smoke detector I had lasted 8 years.

There are still not too many combined smoke and carbon monoxide detectors out there. These are reasonably priced, look good and are quick and easy to fit. Come with a built-in 10 year battery. Only watch-point is that the green LED that flashes every so often to show it is healthy is quite bright and may not be what you want in a bedroom if you are fitting one there.

Brought it for my 10 month olds bedroom since it seems like a good idea to get a warning if something happens in his room separately to our hallway detector (door shut to minimise noise for him). It says suitable for bedrooms but it is definitely not due to the giant circular light that flashes and lights up the room. Trying to decide between a return and covering it with electrical tape but it's such a huge circle of lights it would be a pain to cover
