The perfume smells just like vanilla and is not too overpowering once you spritz it on. The pump also gets a good amount out once you spray, so you really only need 2 spritz. It last for a few hours before needing another application. And since I started wearing this scent, I've gotten some compliments on it!

I almost didn’t buy this scent because the reviews claimed they changed their formula. I’m so glad I bought it anyway. It’s absolutely lovely. Heavy on the vanilla, sweet but not too sweet.

I originally stumbled across this fragrance in the Pacifica sampler pack and I fell in love with the scent. For years I have loved vanilla scents but something about this fragrance drew me in immediately. I would describe this scent as very sweet, candy-like and, tropical but of course the hints of vanilla tie it all together, in a very playful, refreshing sort of way. The reason I give this product a 4 star instead of a five is due to the longevity of the scent which in my opinion is quite short. The scent itself is a 5 star and I will continue to use it but I find that I have to reapply throughout the day and spray the perfume a couple times to achieve a somewhat lasting smell. I bought this perfume because I have been using the Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel body mist for a couple years now but anyone who uses B&BW knows their body mist scents do not last at all. Plus, Vanilla Bean Noel is a seasonal scent that only comes back during the winter season, so if I run out (and I typically do because of how much I have to spray and reapply) I am left to wait until they release it again during the winter seasons. Because of that, I finally decided to invest my time in finding a perfume that will last longer and I will still love the scent as much as Vanilla Bean Noel. I am sad to say Pacifica's Island Vanilla spray perfume only checks off one of those considerations for me. As for the longevity of this Pacifica perfume, I find myself reapplying every couple hours or so. Also, the bottle is 1 fl oz and I received my bottle on Jan 2nd. It is currently Jan 23 and I have less than a 3rd of the bottle left. (I’ve included pictures of what’s left of the bottle). Finally, one small thing that slightly bothers me but I’ll still continue to buy regardless is that the bottle does not come with a cap. With that being said, whenever I bring it with me in my purse or incase I want to travel with it, I have the fear that it will leak and ruin my purse. I don’t believe it is a one time error where they forgot to put a cap on my specific bottle because I went in to Target one day and looked at the Indian Coconut Nectar fragrance in the same packaging and bottle and that one did not come with a cap as well. Besides the longevity and the cap detail, I will still be repurchasing once my bottle runs out but I wish I didn’t have to repurchase as often due to it being labeled as a perfume.

Don’t believe the good reviews that say this has a nice vanilla Fragrence. It’s no true it hardly has any v@nils fragerence

I've been buying this stuff for years but the new formula is terrible. The old formula was warm and smelled so comforting and delicious, I would constantly get compliments. The new formula legitimately smells like rubbing alcohol. After the alcohol evaporates the vanilla scent that is left is noticably lighter and lacking the warmth and depth. Even the new bottles are plain and ugly, the label sticker feels rough and low quality. The old bottles were painted with a cute flower motif. I'm actually surprised they didn't make the bottle smaller too. The new version is giving *cheap* and *disappointing.* Don't bother buying it now. I will be cancelling my subscription.

I had sampled this Pacifica vanilla fragrance at a local store and love vanilla, so I decided to try it. I had used Comptoir Sud for years, but wanted to find something more affordable. This came nicely packaged, and there was no problem with the lack of a cap, the perfume didn't leak. I sprayed some on my arm and the first thing I noticed was a strong scent of alcohol. After a few moments, the vanilla scent was more noticeable. I like the fragrance, it's a lovely warm vanilla, but it did not last long at all. I get the impression this perfume just doesn't contain enough essential oil to provide more than a hour or two of light vanilla scent. Love the fragrance, but I wouldn't recommend this.

smells literally like a bakery full of vanilla cupcakes, i’m obsessed with the scent, everything i own is vanilla so i know ball, i highly recommend for the vanilla girlies!

Found Pacifica back when they were first emerging as a brand and the Vanilla quickly became a signature scent for me. I always got so many compliments. Unfortunately it’s not available in Canada so I used it sparingly. Every time I went to the US I’d stock up. I saw it available online and jumped to buy the original version, not the revamped formula, and I still love it. If you can get the original, do it, if not don’t, the new version smells nothing like it.

The smell is amazing. It's very intense, and fits me perfectly. Can't say anything bad about this product. The smell lasts quite a long time, too. It's perfect for me.
