It works, it's a good DIY project, it protects the most valuable asset.
I live in a flood area and have been flooded in my property before. I've bought five drums so far, and have applied this across all brickwork to first floor level on my chalet-style house. It's made a big difference. One wall that was always cold in winter being exposed to prevailing west wind in shade is much warmer as the brickwork remains dry, and it's noticeable in the room that the ambient humidity has reduced. It's very easy to apply. I just used a normal six inch brush. Don't apply on a very hot day - I'd recommend applying after couple of days into a dry spell. Don't be concerned about the milky look whilst painting. It's dried clear as promised on my Hoathly Fleck bricks, which have a lot of cracks. You'll notice the way that rain beads on the surface and runs off. I've also bought the Stormdry Max product as an overcoat that I'll use on the lowest brick courses on and below the flood level. It's definitely doing what it's described to do, so the functionality of the product is apparent: the BRE certification gives assurance of durability. As this is an easy DIY project the product becomes very good value for money. Roger Bisby loves this stuff too (see YouTube). 'Nuff said?

Weatherproofing
Small tin. Easy to apply. Seems effective in protecting brickwork. Poor value.

Easy to use.
Works well and easy to apply. I put this over some cracked render and seems to keep the water out well. It is clear but slightly shiny but it works.

Sealed my stone chimney
Water had been coming into one of my chimneys for years. I'd tried fixing it many times witg different product. The chimney was sound but when the wind blew in a certain direction rain got in. I used this with its partner no more leaks. I write the nunerous storms since. Goes on easily and dries clear. I slapped it on with a large brush accepting that the brush was going in tge bin when finish. Worked great.

This does exactly what the manufacturer says it does.
I used this to fill cracks in rendering. It’s got good adhesion, it’s got good flexibility so that with changes in temperature it won’t crack. It’s waterproof and it’s easy to apply as it flows into the cracks and seals with a watertight seal

very good at repelling water
Following water egress last winter I had the entire western gable end of our house repointed and then applied StormDry Masonary Protection Cream as a base coat before applying this product. Rain now runs off like a ducks back. I started to apply the CB coat with a large masonary paint brush but found it quickly became gunked up and congeals the bristles together. A far better way is to use a good quality 'wool' roller. Coverage is improved and so is application, with the coating penetrating pits in the brickwork.
