The manual is clean and the exercises work. It is easy to understand and a short time is required to learn each capability. The Manual impressed me. Many manuals are poorly written, not written for any audience, contain critical errors, in short, not really intended to be read. I have another calculator from HP that is a graphing calculator it had no printed manual. It has a steep learning curve as a result of the PDF manual where many examples simply do not work. This machine actually gave me the required information to do some work with the older calculator. The symbolic function has many limitations. The one I do not like is the limitation of ONE character per variable. This limits the work you can do where two character variables are used to help you know what they are. Otherwise it is a great machine.
