Worked like a charm. Original reverse camera was unusable as the picture was blinking in and out. More out than in. This settled it down straight away. It was was not a solid picture but the slight shimmer that was left was much better and I was able to see the picture on the screen instead of having to try and wait for a slower blink to see what was behind me.

Just installed a backup camera on my bmw 325i and got this product because I wasn't getting a signal, but it worked in the run postion and the camera had lights that were also on. After installing this, it didn't fix my problem at all, and now my camera doesn't even get power anymore. It isn't even well put-together, nor is it really anything. This is literally just a 1000 micro farad capacitor as well. Waste of time and money.

Filters the GM modulated power going to the trailer so an aftermarket trailer backup camera will work. Cheap and easy to wire in between my marker lights and the camera. Couple of gripes. Housing needs mounting holes so it can be screwed onto a flat surface. Housing needs a way to seal out the elements. The halves of the plastic housing have 6 little bitty plastic studs that press into holes in the other half. I’m suspecting the shock and vibration in a vehicle application. Will simply rattle the two halves apart, exposing the little PCB to the elements if it’s mounted on the back of the trailer close to the marker light and the camera. I used outdoor caulking to seal up the enclosure and double sided sticky to mount the housing to my trailer. I would have preferred a couple of mounting holes for screws and an o ring sealed enclosure also secured together with machine screws.

I installed this item on my 2010 Mercedes C300 (W204) to help me get an image from my aftermarket backup camera. It did provide a crystal clear picture, but only intermittently and then only for a few seconds. It's so frustrating. The wiring on the camera somehow picks up interference from the car rendering a low quality, flickering image which actually may or may not show on our display. After researching on Google I learned about these noise filtering devices. As I said, they work but in this case the effectiveness was very limited. I don't know what is it about this one that does not hold the image. It shows a clear image but only sometimes. After a few seconds I start seeing random lines, and then the image disappears altogether. Is it because of this particular brand? Is it the one particular unit I bought that is defective? I don't know. In the near future I'm going to try two things: First I will rewire the power to the camera from the back up light to a single fuse. I'm hoping that that may reduce the amount of interference that the wiring is picking up. If that doesn't work, I will buy a different noise filtering device. This one looked particularly cheapy. I opened the device and the few electronic items inside just look flimsy and poorly put together. So may be the whole problem is quality control.

I installed a backup camera I bought on Amazon. The camera didn't work and research showed that I needed this rectifier. I have a 2013 Mercedes GLK 350. Once I installed this the backup camera worked perfectly. Highly recommended

This little device did what is was supposed to do at least in my case. I bought an Auto-Vox M1 Car Reversing Camera Kit for my daughters 2006 VW petrol golf. When the car was running there was a lot of lines / interference on the LCD screen so either the voltage was fluctuating or their was noise on the 12 volt line, not there when ignition just turned on and engine not running. Ordered and this little guy, installed and perfect now. Saved me the hassle of removing the camera and all the cabling from the car which I had routed behind panels and returning to the supplier etc.

I have a VW T6 with a reverse camera and an Android radio. The camera was working only when the engine was not running (not very useful). I read bit and check some voltages. The voltage with the engine OFF is around: 11.70 The voltage with the engine ON is around: 12.30 This difference makes the camera not to run. But thank to this voltage filter, the voltage stabilizes and the camera works great.
