How do i connect this antenna to a yaesu ft-60r?

There is a UHF connection on the bottom of the antenna. You remove one screw to get the cover off and you can screw the cable end on. The other end screws onto the back of your radio via SMA to PL-259 adapter. Use good cable to make sure you don't get too much signal loss. What are the dimensions of this antenna when fully assembled, including the ground planes? I may need to deploy through a window.

This antenna is relative short and ground planes span less than 2 feet.

I live in a top floor apartment. Would this work in a closet? I don't have attic access and would like to run this to my office desk.

It will work in a closet, but not nearly as good as outside.

Could i mount this to the back of my truck and drive around with it attached?

There are dual band mobile antennas with similar specs and they are specifically designed for the shock and vibration. Look up NMO mounts that would work for your vehicle and find an antenna separately that uses the NMO socket.
