I use them as a keychain holder and I love them! I used to use those cheap, fake carabiners which would not last long. These carabiners I can also use them for protection as they fit over my whole fist! I just got them so I can’t speak for the longevity of the product, but look and feel like they will last a long time! Buy buy buy!!! Review: Nice lock 🔐 - I admit that I'm not using it as intended...basically it's used for a dog yoke... for that, a pit and Shepherd will never break it... but, for my use it's too heavy... Considering I've rapelled before, it seems to be trustworthy with your life... ## Features - Endlessly Useful – Balance & Symmetry: Smooth, Uniform curves limit load shifting and retain a higher gear holding capacity than traditional carabiners, making it the best carabiner for trickier brake rapels and heavier loads not to mention a handy companion for camping, hanging your hammock and performing the toughest TRX exercise moves - Bang It, Drop It, Smash It – High quality alloy steel keeps going strong: Wouldn’t you rather focus on what’s in front of you than how your twist lock carabiners are holding up? We agree, so we designed a fast lock carabiner that truly withstands a beating, allowing you to keep your eyes on that next hand hold, rigging knot or aerial move, not on your gear - Twist-it-smart Screw Lock – Single Hand Locking Carabiner: Smooth and easy does it; Because experienced mountaineers, heavy construction workers, and those who “Get the Job Done” know that keeping one hand free to control the outcome is smart way to operate, we designed this heavy duty carabiner to lock with a single hand – just hook, close and twist – it’s locked! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07DBZ2HSM | | Best Sellers Rank | #471,469 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #298 in Locking Climbing Carabiners | | Brand | XTEK Climbing | | Brand Name | XTEK Climbing | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 293 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 4.2"L x 2.4"W | | Item Weight | 0.17 kg | | Lock Type | Screw Lock , Twist Lock | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Recommended Uses For Product | Climbing | | Shape | Oval | ## Product Details - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Brand:** XTEK Climbing - **Item Weight:** 0.17 Kilograms - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Climbing - **Shape:** Oval ## Images ![XTEK Climbing Carabiner 25kN – Heavy Duty Steel Locking Carabiner Clip – Large O-Shape Oval Caribeaner for Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Rappelling – Climbing Gear - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aq6FBXLEL.jpg) ![XTEK Climbing Carabiner 25kN – Heavy Duty Steel Locking Carabiner Clip – Large O-Shape Oval Caribeaner for Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Rappelling – Climbing Gear - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71U-OIGy8KL.jpg) ![XTEK Climbing Carabiner 25kN – Heavy Duty Steel Locking Carabiner Clip – Large O-Shape Oval Caribeaner for Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Rappelling – Climbing Gear - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81lUofnhKZL.jpg) ![XTEK Climbing Carabiner 25kN – Heavy Duty Steel Locking Carabiner Clip – Large O-Shape Oval Caribeaner for Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Rappelling – Climbing Gear - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ZGBWaogtL.jpg) ![XTEK Climbing Carabiner 25kN – Heavy Duty Steel Locking Carabiner Clip – Large O-Shape Oval Caribeaner for Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Rappelling – Climbing Gear - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81+l+IXdE6L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do it open up 1 1/2 in?** A: No, about 5/8" **Q: Where are these made please ?** A: I’m not sure really. My guess is China. Typically if it’s made in the US it’s proudly stamped everywhere on the product and it’s packaging. If you’re concerned with quality, it’s as solid as any I’ve used. I use it in my gym and have zero concerns. I would not use it for climbing. It may be fine but I only use Black Diamond for that. **Q: I see 3 of these carabiners shown in the picture, but don't see any specific quantity listed in the description. How many of these come per pack?** A: I got three **Q: What is diameter of hole that carabiner free end can be inserted through?** A: 9/16th or .562 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These carabiners are awesome! Held as many as 3 inflatable tubes pulling 5 teenagers just fine! Once the lick got jammed but we were able to loosen it up and it was good as new! ## Frequently Bought Together - XTEK Climbing Carabiner Clip – UIAA Certified 25 kN 5620 LB, Large Heavy Duty Carabiners for Climbing: Oval-Shape, Screw Locking Steel Caribeener Clips, Hammocks, Hiking, Camping – Durable & Tested - GM CLIMBING 16mm Nylon Sling Runner 22kN / 4950lbf CE UIAA Certified - DEKABR Heavy Duty Alloy Steel Auto-Locking Climbing Carabiner - 45KN Twist Lock Carabiner for Rock and Tree Climbing, Quick Release, Rescue, and Mountaineering.
