Encourages move creativity
The grandkids enjoy creating with the hexels. Since they are small pieces, the base board gives them stability for some projects. Plus, I can easily move their creations on the base and save it for their next visit.

I bought several packages of plus plus blocks to give to the little ones as Christmas gifts but I wanted to make them a fun travel set. Great Church Toy
My kids love all of the plus plus toys, We have a few sets with the carrying case. These extra bases make it a great toy to play with need your kids quiet, (car, plane, church).

Build vertical & connect plates to build BIG
My kids are obsessed with Plus Plus. The plates allow them to construct buildings, parking ramps, airports, and other structures that need some stability to stand up. Allowing them to build vertical, helps them to build in 3D, not just 2D, so it's GREAT for the brain too. If they made the plates bigger (8"x8" for example), it would be even better.

Great Accessory for Plus-Plus Blocks
My students absolutely love Plus-Plus blocks so buying the baseplate was a no brainer. It has expanded what they can build with the blocks and inspires their creativity. I use these in my busy bag system, which enables students to grab a zippered bag with blocks and baseplate inside, ready for building. The plate is sturdy and of good quality. Worth the purchase!
