GCSE English: AQA Power & Conflict Poetry Anthology - Revision Question Cards: for the 2025 and 2026 exams (CGP GCSE English Literature Cards)

My son worries me with his lack of engagement and focus towards GCSEs. We rarely know how much he is actually working, so these quiz cards were great to test him with, and he engaged much more into discussion about the topics and feels like more is ‘going in’ (for both of us!)Around 60 cards, that cover the set poetry and key aspects of the syllabus. We also have the corresponding book and found this to be necessary to read the main works (provided in the book but not the cards) and relate to the points picked out in the cards, i.e. These complement the book and make it more accessible/digestible, but do not replace it.

My daughter got these after her teacher recommended them to the class. She is using them a fair bit and finds them helpful for her revision.

These cards are fabulous. Each contains questions about the poem’s ideas, themes or key quotations. Answers or suggested analyses are on the back. Ideal to help GCSE students complete their revision. Great resource.
