Game Changer!!!
I used to be very skeptical of the hype about Clover hooks— I assumed it was overrated. A huge fan of wooden hooks, I’d been collecting Knitters Pride birch wood hooks, telling myself and everyone else they were the best: they grab the yarn well, aren’t too slick, and the pointed head of the inline hooks were able to penetrate my super tight stitches without too much effort. The problem? The handles are just straight, solid wood. No cushion, just solid wood that’s uncomfortable to hold after a while. I could only crochet for no more than roughly an hour before fatigue began to set in, and no more than two hours if I really pushed myself. Not so with the Clover Amour hook! Its cushioned design makes crocheting a breeze for hours on end. I crocheted for roughly two hours yesterday, and felt as if I could keep going. And that’s with a recent issue I’ve been having with pain and tenderness in my thumb/wrist. I will admit, the glide of this hook took some getting used to; I’m so used to the sturdiness and ease of control with wooden hooks, it took a little trial period of 30 minutes or so to adjust to the easy flow of the plastic with this hook. I did notice myself crocheting faster, however, once I adjusted, and my pain and fatigue has been greatly reduced!!!I use this size 9 mm hook for Bernat blanket yarn, since as I stated previously, I crochet rather tightly. The size of this hook is perfect for that, and while I wasn’t sure about the bright reddish/orange color at first, it’s growing on me. The candy-color variety of these hooks are super cute. Overall, I think this is a great hook for people that suffer from any kind of hand pain or fatigue, and at $9, a pretty good value given it’s likely to become a staple in your toolbox. It certainly has for me!!!

Highly recommend
Clover hooks are the best of the best. I started making a blanket which needed an N 9mm size hook but all I had was an older aluminum hook. After one day my hand and wrist were hurting so since I have almost every other size of clover hook I decided to order this hook. It came overnight and now I am making this blanket pain free. I would highly recommend Clover Hooks!

Much better than the metal hooks
I can’t believe the difference between this and the standard metal hooks. My hand doesn’t get as tired. Very smooth. The metal hooks have that flat part in the middle that would bother my thumb after a while.

Warning! Addictive!!
Once you use Cover Amour hooks you won't want to use anything else! A few years ago i splurged on a set that went up to size J. I thought that would be enough because I had older, cheaper hooks in larger sizes and i hardly ever use anything bigger anyway. A few weeks ago i started a pattern with a K hook and didn’t make it halfway through before i was on here ordering the Clover! Oh my what a difference! I couldn't believe how easily it glided through the yarn. Now I'm ready to start another project with a huge hook. Needless to say, I ordered that size in a Clover.

Works as great as the Clover Soft Touch
I was hesitant to order these but I needed a larger hook that the Soft Touch do not come in. These work GREAT! Very ergonomic and have the same hook. No issue with friction like other brands. Excellent product!

No an ergonomic grip.
Thought it was going to have more of a silicon grip but it’s just plastic. It works but not what I thought I was paying for.
