Easy to install underneath your desk or table, lightweight
I love building things. I had this idea to design and build my own counter height dual monitor lift desk. The monitors are concealed and lift up through the desk top rather than the whole desk top lifting. Epoxy resin poured 3.5' x 6' desk top. We wanted a desk to use in our garage that also serves as a table for party's and casual uses. When done, it transforms into a computer desk with the push of a button. Towards the end of the project, I realized I needed a place to put the keyboard/mouse and other small desk top items while being used as a seating for 8 table. I found this drawer (yes, I could have made one, but not this thin), it shipped fast, packaged and well protected. Made well with drawer slides. Detent prevents drawer from opening on unlevel surfaces. Some minor assembly required (attaching the 4-mount brackets). Dimension's advertised are accurate. It literally could mounted anywhere under the desk top. I cut 2 runner strips to be level with the apron and mounted the drawer onto these for a flush fit. This drawer came with all the brackets and hardware needed to install a few different ways. Adds a really nice touch to my project. I am pleased with the quality of this drawer. Its thin in height, hardly noticeable, and provides adequate storage for my wide keyboard and other items. Great value for the cost. I will buy another just like it!

Love love love this so helpful for your workspace
This is a great product under the desk. It hides the keyboard and you can slide it out. Unfortunately, when I was laid off, I left it at work. I would love to have another one, but I can’t afford it right now cause I’m unemployed, but I would definitely buy for here again please send me a new one.

SUPER WOW on this product. Fits my large UpLift desk Perfectly! Happy YES
Where has they been? I mean it fit just like either was designed for my 72 inch UPLIFT desk. The exact depth to within 1/8th of an inch.. The ease of installing was a breeze, especially with an uplift desk that can raise to just over 50 inches makes it super easy get under and screw the brakes in. This is super quality made and designed. The closure is perfect. This is a fabulous addition to my office. Great value for the price also. Just order it.

How I made it work for me
Like the price point, light weight, smooth slide action, good width, shallow enough to clear desk chair arms. But it was too shallow as one reviewer stated: not deep enough for staple puller. Another sd post-it notes d/n/fit in divided compartments. I fixed those two issues. I read other reviewers suggestions too. If possible, attatch drawer before your desk is set up. Preferrably turn desk or desktop upside down. I had to lay on my back with pillows under my head with headlamp on. Im handy to a point so I made it work as follows: Traced template onto cardboard. Measure, measure, measure. Cut then glued (2) 15" pieces of stop molding (3/8" thick) I had on hand onto bottom of (butcherblock) desk top. Used template again to mark hole placement. Ensured drawer lined up with marks exactly. PRE-DRILLED with 5/32 drill bit. While drilling I had to back out a few times as the butcherblock top is dense. Used BNUOK #10, 1" panhead wood screws (here on AMZ). Had to hold drawer up with one arm and occassionally also use my foot...lol...The screws went in easily. The depth of the main compartment is only 3/4" so I added 3/8" wood strips. Depth now 1 1/8" in main compartment. The stop molding was 3/8" thick and the butcherblock top is 1 1/2 thick so estimated I needed 1" screws since I will rest my wireless keyboard on the semi extended drawer. Wanted it to be sturdy for weight of my hands. Its not recommended but Ill give it whirl anyway. I also measured and installed drawer to stick out just enough to grab pen/pencil/chapstick from long pencil compartment at the front of the drawer. I used photo glue (had on hand) to glue a pretty floral B&W "no skid" shelf liner in main compartment and small compartment for paperclips. Hopefully this will prevent stuff from sliding around. I found once fully exteneded I have no problem reaching items in the back of drawer. It holds a fair amount of small office supplies. The 4 small compartments at the front of drawer are VERY shallow. One holds my staple puller without dragging the underneath side of my desk. One holds (2) 3X3 post it's but doesnt lay flat. However, since I added more depth with strips of wood, they clear the bottom of my desk top. It was time consuming to install having to lay on my back and upper body strength not what it used to be but it was worth it to have small supplies handy and off my desk top. Im satisfied with the drawer so far.

Great drawer, even better with a couple of tweaks
I love this item. It is simple and sturdy and I expect it to last as long as I have this desk. Still, I decided to make a couple of adjustments in the installation. First, I found after I had installed it, that a few of the items I wanted to store there were a little bit too tall, so I decided to lower the drawer so that they would fit. I replaced the screws that ship with the item (shown at right in the photo) with 1 1/4 inch #10 sheet metal screws (shown at right) and 5/8 inch nylon spacers. (The screws provided are probably about #8 in size and 1 1/4 inch #8 screws would have worked fine, but my hardware store didn't carry the #8 screws in that length.) I'm very happy with the installation and don't feel I have lost any sturdiness. Of course, check that you have plenty of room between your knees and the drawer if you're considering doing this. Second, I noticed that the soft-close feature of the slides create resistance to closing the drawer when the drawer is about one inch from the fully closed position. I found it much faster and easier to open and close the drawer when I only close it to the point where the soft-close resistance begins. However, when the drawer was closed to this point, the front edge of the drawer extended out from beneath the edge of the desk. Therefore, I re-mounted the drawer one inch back from where I would otherwise have mounted it. Now I can open and close the drawer quickly, and in the closed position it is invisible beneath the desktop. Finally, I have ordered but not yet received this item: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GN44Z84/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which appears to be well suited for dividing up the storage area in this drawer.

Perfect!
This drawer is exactly what I needed. I wish my desk had come with more storage options. However, it didn’t, so it is amazing that options like this exist. The drawer is very sturdy and serves to keep clutter off my desk. I was even able to fit additional items inside and still have some room left. The installation instructions are very clear. It is much easier installing this drawer with two people, but I’m sure it’s possible for one person. Would purchase this item again, if needed.

WORKS GREAT AND WAS AN EASY INSTALL
This fit under my gaming desk and still leaves clearance for the arm rests on my chair- holds a ton of stuff too. Main compartment is larger than a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper so you can store files, cheat sheets or whatever. super light so holding in place while installing was very easy. has a fully closed detent so your music blasting won't vibe it open at all.

Nice, but missing hardware! C'mon!
This is a 4.5-star product, but I'm docking 1.5 stars because (1) the unit itself is clunky/janky/jerky to open & close and (2) they failed to include all necessary hardware to use the product; one of the the M4/0.7 screws needed to mount the brackets to the rails was missing, so I had to go to the hardware store with one of the three they actually did send, and found a 10mm M4 fastener to finally install the product. I wasn't willing to wait days on an exchange after already waiting days to receive it. It seems like common sense ... a screw costs a couple of cents max ... why not include an extra, that way if one is missed in production, the customer has an extra? Anyway, onto reviewing. This looks to be the exact same item as the MOUNT-IT pencil drawer product, but ~15% cheaper. It works well with my UPLIFT bamboo-top 60x30" desk, with the unit mounted flush against the cross-bar of the desk, it leaves the drawer sitting roughly 1/16" inset from the edge of the desk which looks visually great. Pulling the drawer out requires force for almost the first inch or so, it actually takes more force than I expected. I was thinking it would be more along the lines of a soft-close cabinet, but the resistance to open the drawer the first inch and close the drawer is pretty significant. I tried adjusting various things to see if it would help, it doesn't seem to matter if the fasteners holding it to the desk are loose or tight, it's just generally difficult. I don't see any way to remove the drawer from the slides, as you can do with most drawers on most cabinets. There doesn't seem to be any quick release. It's not obvious where or how to do routine maintenance like lubrication. The plastic drawer seems sturdy. I'd echo another reviewer's sentiment that it's really sad the shallower trays in the front aren't tall enough to fit standard 3x3" post-it notes. I'd like to think that's probably the #1 thing most people are using with the writing utensils they're keeping in this tray, eh? I went in realizing about 4"-5" of the usable deep drawer space would be invisible. I don't find it a huge problem, but to give you an idea what that means, if you put the tip of your middle finger on the back wall of the tray while the drawer is fully open, expect every last knuckle to disappear under the desk. That said, the depth of this is good. It's not quite deep enough to hold my iFixit toolkit, but it's deeper than the nice $80 white under-desk drawer from MOUNT-IT, and at half the price at the time of this review. Generally speaking, I'm happy with this product because the price is fitting for what I got, and it solves my problems of on-desk clutter. But I'm disappointed in the missing hardware and overall quality of the slides and plasticky-ness of the tray. Even if they just gave you a cheap silicone overlay/liner for the shallow trays, it would be a marked improvement in the luxury of the product. While this review may sound harsh, I'm speaking my feelings. I DO recommend this product. I DO also hope they do a better job of counting fasteners. I could survive with only 4 wood screws, not 8. I'd prefer to have 6 metric-thread screws instead of the 3 I received.

Good drawer for model kit supplies. Holds Testors, Model Master and Humbrol paints, some bottles too big, good for a few other supplies. Smooth rolling and closes soft and tight, hubba bubba. Worth the money. Good quality low profile. Recommended if in the market.

2個目を追加で購入
他にデザインのいいものがなく、安くはないけれど購入。 それが一年前の話。 作り付けのカウンターに装着したところ、一年間いい感じで使えているので、2個目を購入。 二つ並べて設置、とても気に入っています。

Decent
Seems pretty decent and working fine on a desk that I made. No problems and arrived on their schedule.
