Literally the most perfect RED! No fuss, great color, and consistency is perfect. The quality of this dye is unmatched. Safe ingredients are so importantly but be mindful of those allergic. Bottle is durable for use after use.

I used this Chefmaster Coal Black Liqua-Gel food coloring for buttercream and cake batter, and it worked really well. The color is very concentrated, so you only need a few drops to start getting a deep shade without watering down the icing.  What I like most is that it doesn’t change the taste or texture of the frosting, which sometimes happens with other food colorings. The gel blends smoothly and gives a rich black color that looks great for decorating cakes and cookies.  Overall, this is a great option if you need a strong black color for baking or decorating. A little goes a long way, and the bottle lasts a long time.
