This padding is super comfortable to use on a knee scooter. It’s quite thick and fits over the knee scooter pad much more easily than others I have tried. It has ample room, with white elastic on both ends and sides, so the padding is easily kept in place. It also has two Velcro straps that wrap under the scooter pad to keep it in place. I’m a thin woman and don’t have much “natural padding” on my knees:/. I tried several other brands as well as making my own, and this one is the most comfortable! I recommend it!! Note: after using this knee scooter pad for a week, I feel that I should change my review a little bit. After an hour of use, the “memory” foam padding becomes as flat as a pancake! Totally losing any “memory” that it ever had:/ If you are just using the scooter for very short periods of time, I think it would retain its ability to cushion, but I need it for several hours at a time. I found it helpful to purchase another layer of memory foam (at craft store), and add it to the existing padding.

Absolute game changer for recovery. I haven’t used crutches since 2007, so when I had ankle surgery and went non-weight bearing, I figured, “How bad could it be?” Huge mistake. Crutches were hands-down the worst decision I made during recovery. Getting anywhere was exhausting and frustrating. And my first doctors appointment at Kaiser in Fontana, yeah I messed up. I finally used my HSA to buy the VIVE All-Terrain Knee Scooter, and that turned everything around. Best decision I could’ve made. This thing rocks. It’s lightweight, incredibly easy to maneuver, and adapts really well to different lower-limb needs. I was instantly more mobile, independent, and comfortable. Minor note: the tires can leave marks on laminate flooring, but VIVE customer support already responded and is even looking into tire socks — which I really appreciated. With an ankle fusion coming up in a few months, this scooter has already paid for itself and then some. If you’re non-weight bearing and debating crutches… don’t. Get this scooter. You won’t regret it.

Perfect fit, quality material, extremely comfortable (thick foam padding) for my knee and leg! Simple to wash and easy fit.

I put this pad on asap when I got it today. It is very soft and does save my knee from a lot of the harder discomfort of a knee scooter pad. I’m using an older borrowed scooter so it’s not nice kushy soft like it may have been new. It does raise the height by maybe an inch or two, nothing major but noticeable to me when I don’t have a shoe on my right foot on the ground. The downside to a cast that goes up as high as mine is that you really do have to keep the padding just on the exposed skin which doesn’t leave me a ton of security with it. When you have a broken foot and you try to put the cast itself on the pad, or the top edge nudges the padding, it causes the cast to move and put pressure on all the wrong places for me (I broke navicular and cuneiform bones on the top part and heavily bruised my ankles and surrounding tissue). So what happens is due to the fluffiness of the padding, my knee sits way towards the back of it and I have to make extra sure my knee is secure before taking off. It’s hard to explain, but make sure you’re centered and good to go because you don’t want your center of gravity off when you start scootin’ and your knee plops off. Obviously with a cast like mine and just the plain knee scooter this can happen too, just leaves less room with the pad added. Overall I’m pleased with it. It matches my pink theme I have going with my crutch pads and cast lol. Also makes it more comfortable if I have to use the scooter to prop my leg up with sitting.

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the Vive Mobility Scooter Pad Cover. It is just what I was looking for to make my knee scooter more comfortable for my up coming ankle surgery it is thick, fits perfectly in the knee scooter, and so comfortable!! This pad is a God send, as I will be non weight bearing for up to 6 weeks!! I am so thankful for this product!!

The pad fit perfectly over the existing pad on the knee scooter so it stayed in place well. The outer covering was soft and comfortable. The memory foam however was smashed down after just a few days and lost the majority of its cushioning. I am a big guy and that may have contributed to that.

I have used the scooter pad for 5 weeks now and it is still attached to the seat. The cushion is still protecting me from the hard seat. It was easy to install, fits well and the quality is really good. It's well made. The cushion was thick when first installed and has held up well since I started using the scooter. (See photo) If you'll be using a knee scooter for any length of time, definitely purchase this to make your recovery easier. I'm glad I did!

It has been so helpful for my knee. You can definitely feel the cushion! The plush is also great and not so harsh on your knee.

Really comfortable and well cushioned to go on knee scooter after surgery, wish I’d known about this before, fits perfectly well and well made too with Velcro straps to keep it in place would definitely recommend

This knee pad is extra plush and well cushioned. It stays in place beautifully. Using a knee scooter because of lower leg injury is great but can take its toll on the pressure on the knee and shin. I had extra bruising on the shin due to the accident, so needed the added comfort this knee pad provided . Well worth the investment!

Made the knee scooter much more comfortable to walk with. Would recommend this product if you have a Vive Knee Scooter.
