Can i print on these using my canon pixma mx922 inkjet printer? they would have to curl over the roller. thank you.

These are high quality postcards and not flimsy, so I don't know if they would curl easily over the roller. My guess would be "no". Sorry I'm not more helpful.

If the back is coated as well, how are you supposed to write on them to send them, without the ink smearing?

So far I have used a ball point pen to write on the backs of my cards. I didn't have any problems with it smearing using a ball point pen. I imagine that felt-tipped pens or markers might potentially give you some problems with smearing, but I haven't tried any yet.
