Could this be used in smoothies and protein shakes?

This needs to be fully dissolved. I would say, if you plan to use it in a smoothie or protein shake, mix it with milk or water first to ensure it is fully dissolved and then add it to the shake. I was told to mix with cold liquid, not warm/hot. I was also told it is best to drink first thing in the morning prior to eating anything.
