I used to buy a VERY expensive brand in a green bag but the price has gotten way too high. I love Harney and Sons for their Earl Grays and Jasmine tea and I wanted a genuine Chai with lots of spice and great aroma. I tried Tea India on a whim. The price was so good for 80 tea bags i felt I had nothing to lose. The box of teas comes in 2 Mylar bags of 40 pods each, so you know it hasn’t been exposed to air and losing flavor. The aroma is wonderful and the flavor is excellent. Hot, I have it with a bit of keto honey, a splash of coconut cream and a splash of heavy cream. I also toss in my unsweetened beet root powder and collagen powder. That’s my breakfast. I love the earthiness the beetroot powder adds, but that’s just me. I make a large pot in my bodom French press (the big stainless one) and let the undrank portion steep a long time and then use for iced tea. Served in the traditional style, this tea is excellent. The price is outstanding. I see there is also a cardamom version, which I will be ordering today. Finally, a small rant. It’s chai. Not chai tea. Chai translates to tea. That’s like saying “Coffee café.” Don’t get me started on the people who say ATM machine! ;-)

I love this stuff. I usually get at my local Indian grower, but it has been on backorder for a while. It’s got just the right amount of spice and it’s delicious with the splash oat milk.

I've tried lots of bagged chai teas and this one beats them all, not only for taste but for price. You get 72 teabags in a box for about the same price as most of the big name tea makers charge for a box of 12. It makes delicious sun chai as well, using just 4 teabags in a half gallon mason jar.

Good chai flavor with good tea - no red tannic acid in the two cup packets .Just what I need for a Big Tea.

This is best chai flavor ever. The product they sent was very fresh but, between you and me, even if you don’t drink it very fast, the flavor never gets weak even years after the expiration date.

Great tasting tea

My first cup of this was disappointing. The spices are fine. They're strong enough, the emphasis is on the cinnamon, but pretty well balanced. But there is an annoying bitter note to this tea, yet at the same time, it doesn't seem quite strong enough as far as the actual tea part. However, the mug I use is 16 oz, so I tried 2 bags. This did help round out the tea flavour, and didn't make the spices overpowering or really increase the bitterness - but the bitterness is still there. The thing is - I'm not a 'typical' chai drinker since I don't take milk or sugar in my tea. I've never taken sugar, but a few years ago I just lost my taste for milk in my tea. I haven't experimented, but it's possible that milk and/or sugar would mitigate the bitterness here. I don't have problems with bitterness using brands like Stash or Tazo, and I don't need to use 2 tea bags to make them strong enough, either. I hoped this tea would save me money, but using two bags brings the cost up to the same as the other brands. If you put milk in your chai like a normal human being, and prefer your tea not too strong, this might be for you.

Great authentic flavor

I love this tea. It’s the next best thing to making your own. I look for spicy. The spicy the better. This tea is as close as I have found to homemade chai. Could always be spicier but not disappointed at all and the smell is so nice.

For a bagged tea this is pretty tasty and enjoyable. Product in date and fairly priced

why say chai tea? chai means tea so youre saying tea tea . its like saying atm machine , the m means machine youre just saying automatic teller machine machine ? but regardless of any if that the tea india massala chai is a wonderful tea highly recommend
