**Q: Can someone suggest a good quality cassette tape recorder to use for singing practice or teaching....to play back?**
A: This is a personal tape recorder intended for taking notes and recording close up memos. It is not stereo and it is not Hi Fi. The quality of recording is average and it does not pick up sounds from a distance. I am not sure if there is any cassette recorder that fits your need these days.  You may start looking for a digital recorder that you can download the recorded files to a computer and play with them. The price is very affordable and equal to cassette recorder.

**Q: Can it be used to record audio conversations on landline phones?  If so, how do you connect it?**
A: I don't know how technical you wish to be; this is just a simple recorder. If you call someone from a landline phone and wish to record the conversation for example, I suggest you turn on the speaker and then turn on the recorder. You can set the recorder on voice activation, too, if you like, although I haven't tried that feature yet.

A: Hello Melissa, the recorder uses Standard Full Size (large) cassettes

A: Hello, thank you for your interest.  It plays and records on Large size cassettes.  Excellent working and cosmetic condition.
