Air King makes quality products and you can't go wrong with their fans. This looks like one of those cheap Walmart fans, but it won't take you long to realize it's much, much better. I love the cords on them. They're beefy and well-made. They also have nice length to work with. To me that''s a sign of quality, right out of the box.But the real deal here is the air flow and the low noise. This little thing puts the old-fashioned box fan to shame, and is much quieter. I bought one for work and when I turned it on, my coworkers all went, "Wow!" You would never expect such air to come from such a small fan.Every fan has noise. It's just a fact. So I ignore all posts that complain that this fan is too noisy. However, when you compare it with other fans with similar airflow, this one beats anyone I've ever used.This fan is TOUGH. We've knocked it off the desk several times at work and not one thing has broken. Just keeps on going.Of all the things that have impressed me, there is one that really sold me on this fan. When you shut the fan down, it takes forever for the blades to stop. That tells me Air King uses higher-end bearings. That is usually what fails first in any fan I've ever used.I've purchased a few other Air King products for different situations and they are all impressive. I can't recommend them enough.

Great little fan, very powerful. Would highly recommend. The only thing I didn’t like is that it does not have a remote to it. So I bought one of those that you can stick in an outlet that comes with a remote so you can turn any object on. Which made it very handy.

I ordered this fan to replace a Nautica retro style fan. I only use loud fans to drown out noise when sleeping, so I like them LOUD. This fan will filter out a full scale military invasion. Not with “mechanical” sounds, but the sound of moving air. The bonus, it moves a metric fecal ton of air. It’s a little large for a nightstand, but still works great.

We borrowed this fan on our cruise ship from the room steward and fell in love with it. Immediately when we got home, we ordered one. It has a loud enough sound (which we love!) and pushes a lot of wind. Highly recommended.

I research my purchases and read reviews. I like to buy things that are well-made, quality and last a long time. This fan fits that, but it's not "quiet". It's tolerable "white noise" and does help drowned down the sound of traffic.

I think I may have gotten a lemon of a fan. This brand came highly recommended but this is by far the worst most janky fan I’ve ever owned and I wish I would’ve returned it. It’s loud with inconsistent sound so not even good white noise. The blades often stop spinning altogether so I have to shake it, turn it and hit it for it to start again! Maybe I just have a faulty one but yikes! Buyer beware

Very powerful fan and takes up little space

Moves a ton of air. Best in class fan.

For its size this fan moves a lot of air. It is not too quiet as we use it for noise isolation on cruises. Many cruise lines no longer supply a room fan. Does not take up too much room in my luggage. I recommend this purchase although price is a little steep.
