"All's Well That Ends Well" (Shakesphere)
As boat owners at a marina that doesn't provide Cable TV on the piers, we had subscribed to Dish TV for years. The price kept climbing and service not that great, and due to weather conditions, we experienced a lot of outages. I checked out the Shakesphere Marine Antenna System on Amazon and the price was great. We thought even if we only received a few local channels, we would be happy. Well, not only was installation very easy, we have over 12 perfectly clear channels and at times many more! Not as good as Smaller Diameter
I ordered this because the Shakespeare Literature says that this 2030G 21" diameter antenna will get better reception than their 2020G 14" diameter version, which I already had. I got worse reception with this bigger antenna - I lost about 8 stations. The stations that I wanted to improve because they were intermitant either completely disappeared or did not improve. I contacted Shakespeare and to their credit, they provided me with another new antenna. The new antenna did not help. At this point, I have put the 14" 202G back up and I am getting more stations again. Still looking for a solution to improve marginal stations - maybe the Glomex??

Great product it kicked ... Make sure you secure it well as a serious wind could blow it into the water.

shakespeare Marine 21"
I have the antenna mounted above the radar on my boat so it has an unobstructed view. Antenna is not omnidirectional. At anchor when the boat swings I loose reception on Miami stations. That is a problem considering I am in Miami less than 10 miles from the transmitters.
