Crucial RAM CT4G3S1339M 4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz CL9 Memory for Mac , Green

The set up was really straight forward and is working very well. There is no difference (speedwise) in the original 4GB module and this one. I am using it on a 2011 IMac 27" and is working great.

I bought three of these memory sticks as the supplier only had three in stock. I used them plus one of the original 2GB memory sticks to give me 14GB in my iMac 27". I watched some videos on YouTube before I carried out the upgrade but the procedure was simplicity itself and only took a few minutes. Now, I regularly have between 8 to 10GB free when running most applications and even when running Windows XP under Parallels, there is no reduction in performance. N.B. If you buy two of these sticks to give 8GB in your iMac, be aware that they must be inserted in the top two slots as you look at the memory port with the iMac lying on its screen. If in doubt, consult the upgrade instructions on the Apple web site.

Memory works fine after being installed in my 27" Imac I3 mid 2010 model. Sticks are individually packaged and is easy to install. System recognised it immediately upon startup.

This RAM arrived today and within 10 minutes I had installed it and started up my iMac mid 2011. I read the instructions on the Mac website and watched a video on youtube and it all went perfectly. I'm not good at practical matters, so if I can do it, anyone can! After installing the RAM I plugged the computer in and waited 2 minutes. Then tried the power button, nothing, tried again, nothing, then again a minute later and it started up. I knew to expect a slow start. And now it is noticeably faster than before. I'm going to buy another of these RAM modules next week and install that too. It really makes a big difference, updating the RAM. Really happy with this purchase.

Installed these on my 2010 Imac. Very easy to install. Has made an improvement on handling a lot of applications at a time. Has it made the computer any faster? it has a little but not a great improvement. Unfortunately its the same old thing with Apple where the software outstrips the hardware at a lightning pace meaning I will probably have to submit to a complete upgrade in a year or two as believe new quad core processors will improve things a lot.

I do a lot of photography work on my mac and run a few programs at once, with file sizes getting bigger I felt the need to upgrade the Ram (fed up of seeing the beach ball) So I bought two 4GB sticks as they were a great price and a lot cheaper then apple do them. Such a simple up grade anyone can do it (see YouTube) I'm now running 12GB and it works a treat. Recommended.

I ended up purchasing 2 of these 4GB to upgrade my iMac. They have been perfect and have bumped up my total ram to 12GB. The iMac runs faster insofar as I can have a number of programs opened at the same time and it is more snappier in operation. I had previously purchased the 2 x 8GB kit but the modules failed to work and caused the iMac to crash and restart. Amazon were brilliant as usual in getting them returned. Really pleased.

This RAM is working great. Booted right up into windows 8.1 I replaced an old 2GB stick with this one to bring me from 6GB to 8GB total ram. great so far. We'll see how this holds up, but its a trusted brand so I expect it will work fine. I put this in a Dell Inspiron n5110

Acquistata per installarla nello slot secondario del mio NAS Synology DS218+. Per tutti coloro che leggono questa recensione ed hanno lo stesso NAS: tenete conto che il processore che monta il NAS permette di usare fino a 8GB di RAM, pertanto potete aggiungere un banco da 4GB, oppure uno da 8GB. Nel primo caso avrete 6GB (4+2) a disposizione, nel secondo 8GB (8+2) perchè nonostante abbiate fisicamente 10GB di RAM il processore può usarne solo 8. Per ora ho avuto 2 mesi di attività ininterrotta e zero problemi col banco di RAM

great little stick of ram, was in perfect condition when it arrived and replaced a 2GB dead ram stick. My EliteBook 8540p is now running as efficiently as it can be running with 6GB of ram. I'll definitely buy another one from crucial should I need to.
