Understand how to read the canvas. The canvas is composed of tiny boxes that are colored and labeled with numbers. Each number corresponds to a diamond color. The numbers are written on a Reference Chart, with the corresponding bag and diamond color written below or next to it. The reference Chart is printed on the side of the canvas. 2. Unroll the canvas and tape it d own onto a flat surface. The canvas is covered with a protective plastic film. The chart area is sticky if you peel back this plastic film. It’s recommended that do not remove the entire piece of plastic film at once. 3. Look at the chart and determine which color of diamonds to start. Put the diamonds in the tray. It’s recommended to work with one color at a time. Position the diamonds with the flat side down by slightly shaking the tray. 4. Dip the tip of the applicator pen into the gel. The gel will make you pick up the diamonds easier. 5. Gently press the tip of the applicator pen to the rounded side of the diamond. 6. Peel back the plastic film to uncover the area you are working on and carefully press the diamond onto the corresponding symbol box. Repeat Step 4-6 until your design is completed. ☀ After placing the last diamond, finish the painting work and get a bling bling beautiful painting. ☀ Get a proper frame from a art store to hang your finished painting decor (^v^) Review: GORGEOUS when done! But VERY sticky! Use a light board! - Though this didn’t have all of the fancy tweezer accessories and some other features, it was an extremely solid set. The design turned out BEAUTIFULLY! This was only my second project, but it was very enjoyable. The ONLY “flaw,” is that the adhesive is MUCH more sticky and thick than the canvases I’ve worked with before and since. The advantage to that, is that it won’t lose its tack if you accidentally put your arm on it a few times like my first project did, but the downside is once you put a stone down, you have to be committed to the placement. It is VERY difficult to move it once it’s been placed, if you try to slide it it will just pucker up the adhesive and then move right back to where you put it. You have to actually move it. I bent my tweezers and broke a couple beads with how hard you have to pull to get them off to replace! I bought a light board about 1/4 of the way into this and it made a HUGE difference, to actually see the faint circle outlines in the grid and where to place. Also, I think the 7th color almost didn’t have enough. If even a few had been damaged, there was no room for error, but there were a ton extra of every other one. All-in-all, though there were some challenges, I’m still giving it a 5/5 because it’s just a truly beautiful design and comes out so well. Review: Pretty Floral w/ Easy To Read Symbols - Love the colors in this DP. This is my first with the double sided adhesive (all my others have been poured glue with a clear cover). The adhesive is really sticky and the canvas is decent quality. The image is full drill 30x30cm (about 12x12in) with round drills. I love that an inventory sheet was included. Drills appear to be really good quality and every package is accounted for. Colors use the DMC coding system and symbols on the canvas are clear and easy to read. The tool kit is also better than most with a funneled white boat, metal tweezers, 2 squares of wax and a clear pen (not a fan of pink) that has a single placer on one end and what looks like a 9 placer on the other. The image is lovely and I can't wait to get started on it.
