The Mystery of History, Volume I Quarter 1: Creation to the Resurrection

I love the portability of having an ebook version but very disappointed that the Hands-on and Research Activities for Younger, Middle, and Older Students which is included in the paperback version are NOT in the ebook! I got this book to see what MOH was all about and wish that the basic lesson extensions were included. For the price of the ebooks I could get a used paperback copy of MOH which includes the additional information for the same price.

I have the physical copy as well, but I used the digital version to take notes and add my additional research.Even though the main text is exactly the same, it is not going to be able to provide the same teaching experience as the hardbound. The digital version does not come with homework/project suggestions, quizzes, and pre-lesson assessments of knowledge. It is a 5-star Kindle book if you know it won't​ be as helpful with heavy lifting homeschooling.

I chose this series at the recommendation of a home school mom - for myself! I realize I had many holes in my learning of history and none of it from a true biblical/Christian view. I can’t wait to get into the next book in the series! Wish I had this kind of material when I was growing up!

I am so excited to find this! I purchased the textbook for use in our homeschool. It is full of very useful information for the teacher! but the children don't need all of the information. After making copies of the reading assignments out of the very large book each week for three weeks for three children, I was done making copies! This is perfect! I can give the children their reading assignments, they can read them on their devices on their own time, and then they can arrive prepared for class and ready to discuss! Perfect!!

Very helpful for my daughter to have so she could follow along as I read from the textbook. She also used it when she needed to refresh her memory while she was creating her notecards or completing a worksheet. It only includes the text and photos.

Does NOT include exercises or pretests! Don't waste your money. It only goes by quarters, so you have to buy all four and then buy the exercises from another website. Can't seem to find a way to refund my money and I could not be more unhappy. This is a rip off.

This is a good history curriculum. I like the "Story Of The World" pricing much better but this goes a little deeper on certain subjects. I like using both books back and forth and find that to be working really well. The language is gripping and perfect for children of all ages. I have learned more with this curriculum than I retained from school.

I was hesitant to pay the full volume price before I had a chance to try it out. I was intrigued that it was only $3.99. After reading through it, I love the readings! I love that it is an ebook. You can't find many homeschool textbooks that are ebooks. Its so nice to just grab my kindle and go do history in the park. Rather than bringing a bag of heavy books. If you are unsure wether The Mystery of History is right for you, I highly recommend buying the $3.99 portion and trying it out.
