My new MacBook Air has USB-C ports only, so I recently upgraded to this USB-C memory card reader, and it has completely solved all of my data transfer needs. Moving files, movies and pictures, I needed something fast and reliability, and this little device delivers on both fronts. It's small design is small enough to use with the two USB-C ports next to each other without blocking the other port on the MacBook Air. It is very easy to use, just plug and play. This reader is worth every penny. If you are looking for a well built, reliable, fast, and compact USB-C card reader to handle modern, high-capacity cards, this is the one to get. Works well. compact sizeI have been using this Anker SD card reader to pull photos and video off SD cards, and it has worked exactly as expected. Plugged it into a USB-C laptop and phone and it was immediately recognized without any setup. The size is a big plus. It is small enough to live in a camera bag or laptop sleeve without getting in the way, but it still feels solid and well built. Card insertion is firm and secure, not loose. Transfer speeds have been consistent for my use, and I have not had any disconnects or read errors so far. If you need a simple, compact SD card reader that just works, this one does the job.

Very happy with this reader. The size is great, fast, works well and fits well with iPhone 17 - with a case. Works well with Mac and Windows computers. I like that there isn’t a short cord dangle. Feels well built and easy to travel with and pack. On sale, couldn’t be happier with this product.

Bought two of these for my daughter’s camera. They fit nicely in her bag. And is small enough to lose. All things considered, perfect for what we need…except for the fact that we lost one. :-)

The reader works perfectly.. The connectivity is flawless.. it worked the instant i plugged it in... The casing is an aluminum piece with a grey color and matte finish..it is tough. I like the metal instead of plastic, more durable... Storage was adequate for my purposes.. i am using a 32gb sd..working fine.. The micro sd is easily slid into/out of the device,,, straight forward on spring loading the tiny card..that is sometimes difficult and this card doesn't have that problem... The speed was instant...im not an expert on computers but the card seems to work great... I like the metal construction and it's durability... the easy insert of the cards is good too... The card works great which is what i expect from Anker... 5 stars for the Anker SD card reader...

anker is a great brand and i have some of their other products so it was an easy choice to pick this up over some of the other brands out there in order to view/transfer dash cam footage on a micro SD card. the package is super easy to open without needing scissors. the size is small and compact. i inserted the micro SD, connected it to my monitor, and was able to flawlessly view and move files with no setup. it does get hot fast and was hot when i disconnected it from the monitor, although it quickly cooled down. great tool to have around and would recommend

Pretty simple to use, just stick it into your computer or phone and then stick the memory card in it. Works as you would expect it to. Seems like the upload speeds were pretty good! I think the value for money is good, and the design feels pretty nice.
