From the documentation I learned that the internal design geometry cancels the need for an agitator ball thinger. I was immediately skeptical, but having it already in hand, it was easier to try it than send it back. So I tried it. It worked. It worked really well and it worked really quickly (maybe 5-10 shakes and my protein powder is fully mixed. 0 lumps!). It also cleans up super simply if you rinse it out right after you use it (I haven't tried leaving it dirty for hours yet, and hope to never need to). The insides are super slick/smooth so there's not much for stuff to stick to. I keep it in my desk drawer at work and really couldn't be happier - I'd resigned myself to being that guy at the work kitchen sink a couple times a day deep cleaning the agitator ball thinger... I pour into a pint glass and drink it all fast. **Q: Is the exterior of the bottle near the measurement marks see-thru? Meaning, can you actively see/measure liquid while pouring it in?** A: It is somewhat see-thru. It would depend on the lighting in the room, but in most cases you can see the level of the liquids from the outside. **Q: Bpa or bpa-free i’m not interested in drinking out of plastic. do you make a stainless steel model?** A: No Shakespeare tumbler does not come in stainless steel. **Q: Is it difficult to tell what volume you’ve poured in to the bottle (even with the external measurements) since none of the bottles are translucent?** A: My procedure is to measure what is to be placed in the bottle by use of a measuring cup or other measuring device. That is the only way I know to make certain the volume. Thus far, the procedure has worked and the tumbler is serving its purpose in a very satisfactory style. Recently started trying to get myself back in shape a little and all the shaker bottles I owned had a terrible smell to them. Figured this bottle was marketed well and probably wouldn't do what they claims say it could do, but it looked cool, so I gave it a try. The first time I used the bottle was quite a surprise. The protein powder mixed extremely well and possibly better than my previous shaker bottles, all of which had some kind of whisk ball in them. Clean up, was quite simple. Rinsed the bottle, added some water and shook it up, then rinsed it again. No little clumps of powder remained behind in the bottle. The only complaint I can come up with right now, if I were to get picky, is the measurements on the side of the bottle. I have the matte black version and the measurements on the side are pretty pointless. Its pretty much impossible to see the liquid levels inside the bottle. This hasn't caused any issues for me, it seems to work great with just estimating how much water/milk to put in. Is it worth the money? If it lasts me longer than the other shaker bottles, then definitely. Only time will tell on that.
