This said it was for the green learn button. And it was. It took one minute for it to work properly. Arrived in two days. Good price and with bit of double-sided tape mounted it on the consul out of sight but easily accessible. I would recommend this product.

Works for my 2003 Craftsman unit, which was apparently manufactured from 1993-1997. My unit has the green button on the back of unit. Hold down this button until green light comes on back of unit and then select which remote control button you wish to use for that particular door and press it. Door should begin to raise/close based on its current position. Takes 15 seconds. Distance is suitable and works well. Value for the money. Recommend!

When I received this device I immediately went out to the garage and programmed it. Worked like a charm from that 1st programming and has worked that way ever since. Most times, you have to fiddle with anything that needs programming but not in this case. I gave it five stars because it worked from the get-go and is still opening and shutting the garage door. Couldn't be more pleased.

I was a bit worry as the opener model matches the description but the learn button color is not ( mine is red, not green). But buying on Amazon with their return policy should help in case... To my relief, the set up only took 2 touches and everything works as desired!!!

Couldn't program it. And when I called Craftsman for tech support, after waiting an hour they disconnected me. Called back again and could never get out of the automated system. I'm returning it. My learn button is blue but there are NO products for blue learn button.

Great value for garage door opener. I have a Sears Craftsman and this was a perfect replacement for the Sears opener that burned out. I am considering purchasing another one to have as a spare for when the kids come home

Very easy setup for our Sears/Craftsman 139.53970SRT garage door opener (mfg date 2001). Took a whole 15 seconds to unbox and another 30 seconds to sync. Range is on the better end of decent, sometimes I have to click it twice. Just installed 2 days before I wrote my review so will update if needed.

Was looking for a replacement remote for our Craftsman 139.53970SRT opener. Other similar options have not worked with this opener but this one was easy to program and works well, even at distances greater than thirty feet. Decided I'd like to have a backup remote so ordered a second one the very next day.
