Very good

I was really pleased with this click click waste. It was really easy to fit and works really well. Please note it’s more of a nickel kind of finish than a glass chrome also you’ll need to make sure that you have the plastic nut for the waste pipes. Note good because it does not have an overflow hole which she would need to silicon up so if you have a sink without an overflow as we do this is perfect but obviously if you have an overflow, this isn’t the item for you

Every one of my sinks and the bath have click-clack waste, which I far prefer over plug and chain, much neater too. Unfortunately, there are varying quality products around, and I had to replace (a not very old) one in the cloakroom. The chrome had started to lift slightly, and the mechanism wasn’t as smooth as it should be – very poor. I bought this to replace the defective unit. It should be remembered that this is UN-SLOTTED, for sinks that DON’T have an overflow (which my cloakroom one doesn’t). There are some great features with this one, e.g. it has a METAL (brass) fixing nut, which many don’t. This is something to watch out for – many have nylon locking nuts, which often prevents from a good solid tightening. The best thing with this is that it is nickel plated brass, which tends to be fare more resilient to peel / wear than chrome, and is definitely the way to go. Just be aware that the finish of nickel plate is a little different to Chrome, not massively so though. The image in the product description looks more like chrome. This was very straightforward and easy to fit / retrofit, and of really good quality, and excellent value. I really recommend this product, beware of some cheapo products! I Expect this to provide many years good service.

The product arrived with a set of basic installation instructions. The key is ensure that ALL remnants of residual sealants in the waste opening are thoroughly removed. I used a small amount of boss white for the waste opening but not for the large nut and tapered rubber washer underneath the sink. It took more time preparing the waste hole than fitting the new waste, which took only a few minutes. Tightened everything up and tested with running water and then with the waste closed and the basin full of water. No leaks at all, very pleased. Remember this pop up waste is for a basin with NO overflow, if you have an overflow then you need a slotted waste fitting instead.

Good price but poor quality

The product was great easy to fit and does the job. The only reason why it was 4 and not 5 stars was that the overall length of the waste was shorter than the one that came out, so I had to change the trap in order to get it to connect. I do not know if there is a standard length? But apart from that the product was great.

Love this – so easy to fit, works perfectly, looks great. What’s not to like! The original had some spots around the edge where the chrome had rusted away causing rust stains on the sink. This one fits beautifully and slightly overlaps where the old one was, so for my purposes, it was even better than simply replacing it with the original part. Note the top is brushed chrome rather than polished, but it looks fine.
