Review: Worth the purchase - Definitely needs to be seasoned. Tried to fry sausage patties, they stuck badly! No big deal just need heated up and wipe down with some oil and that fixes the problem. I normally buy Lodge brand, they are fully seasoned. Cuisinel is a well made pan other than that. The casting is smooth with no pitting, cracks or flashing globs. Lid is very nice. I would buy again
Review: Fabulous - Absolutely LOVE this skillet. It is large, the lid washes well in the dishwasher, and the silicone pieces are super handy (no pun intended).

## Features

- PRE-SEASONED & READY TO COOK: This large 12-inch cast iron skillet comes seasoned with natural oil, PFAS & PFOA-free with no synthetic coating, and gets more nonstick the more you cook with it.
- LID INCLUDED: The tempered glass lid locks in heat and moisture so you can braise, simmer and steam while watching your food cook. Big enough for family-size steaks, whole chicken pieces, deep-dish pizza and cornbread.
- EVEN HEAT ON ANY COOKTOP: Heavy cast iron holds steady heat on gas, electric, induction and glass tops, in the oven, on the grill or over a campfire.
- WHAT'S INCLUDED: One 12-inch cast iron skillet, one tempered glass lid and one silicone handle holder. Silicone grips get hot, so always use an oven mitt.
- EASY CARE: Rinse while warm, dry on low heat and wipe with a thin coat of oil. Do not soak or put in the dishwasher. The seasoning gets more nonstick with every use.
