Due to a health condition I have to drink a LOT of water, so I use bottles 24/7 - I have it with me all day, so have very high standards for what I need in a bottle! I've tried both plastic and glass before and had issues with both. Plastic gets bacteria growth and the longer you have the bottle for the more often you need to clean it. After a few months it needs replacing. Glass is a little better but most of the bottles aren't dishwasher safe and I've had issues with water getting inside the lids and smelling bad: most glass bottles seem to have a hollow lid made in two pieces, with the seal near the bottle mouth. After a few months the glue goes and the lid either breaks of starts taking on water. This bottle is by far the best! I've had it for two months now. A few things: It stays clean for a long time, the body is dishwasher proof but I've found washing it with hot water and washing up liquid under the tap is fine. Ir does get very hot when you wash it though so be careful. It's a good size, and while it's not a vacuum flask, I have found even on hot days, if you fill it cold it stays cold for hours. The lid is very well designed, it's one piece of moulded sheet metal with the wood sealing up the hole from the top. Water can't get inside the lid. It closes tight and there is a rubber band round to prevent leaks. I haven't found it to leak once. I haven't found it noisy to open or metallic tasting, though I believe water and vinegar/bicarb will solve metalic tasting issues if you have them. Finally, having plain metal rather than one with a plastic coloured print design on will mean the bottle looks new for longer. In the past I have had colourful ones and the colour scratches off quickly and looks scruffy. I haven't had any issues with the bottle cracking or the handle breaking, it seems well made and durable. I expect this to last for at least 12 months of continuous use and will be able to recycle after.

Perfect minimalistic bottle. Good size, secure lid so no spills, handy carry handle. Easy to get inside to clean. Stainless steel means I’ll have it for years. Exactly as described. I did buy the 750ml bottle thinking it would be big enough, but sadly not. Now my wife has that one while I have the 1litre bottle. Everyone’s happy.

I’ve been using the Bambaw Stainless Steel Water Bottle (1L) for a while now, and overall, I’m really pleased with it. The best feature is its eco-friendliness, there’s absolutely no plastic involved, which is a huge win for reducing waste and avoiding any weird aftertastes in your drinks. The bottle is lightweight and easy to carry, making it perfect for everyday use, whether I’m at work, at the gym, or out hiking. The single-wall design means it’s not insulated, but I didn’t buy it for that, so it suits my needs just fine. The only drawback I’ve found is that the bottle can dent if you accidentally drop it on hard surfaces (and yes, I’ve done this a couple of times). While the material is sturdy overall, the dents are a reminder to handle it with care. I’ll take partial blame for this, it’s not the bottle’s fault I’m clumsy! All in all, it’s a fantastic reusable bottle for anyone looking to avoid plastic and stay hydrated in a sustainable way. I’m giving it 4 stars simply because of its susceptibility to dents, but otherwise, it’s a solid product I’d definitely recommend.

In the hot weather I like to keep cold bottles of water in the fridge. Up until now I've been doing that with old plastic bottles but I'm concerned about leaching. I initially bought some insulated metal bottles but they, quite obviously when I thought about it, took days to get cold from the fridge so I returned them and bought 2 of these. Absolutely perfect. Cool down quickly, easy to open and no funny tastes. So good I bought another one today.

I'm reviewing this water bottle after 5 years of solid use. I can honestly say this is one of the best products I've ever had. It's still in great condition, no smells, and the bamboo lid and rubber seal are still in great condition. It's so lightweight and practical I love using it. I was worried that the bamboo wooden cap would deteriorate if it got wet, but it's still perfect after many washes. It never takes on the smell of the contents, and doesn't ever smell musty. I can't recommend this enough for practicality, and sustainability.

I've been using this for my bedside table and love that it light weight. Like the other comments mentioned it has not rusted and the coating has not chipped.

The bottle as such is great, but we had three already and two of them had their top broken off (the wooden/bamboo part comes of and leaves a hole at the top). It seems that the bamboo part gets mouldy from the inside and eventually starts falling out. Bottle still works once it falls out, but it's ugly and looks broken.

The size is great because its uninsulated so its much smaller than my old metal bottle which was 1L insulated. Also my old bottle had a plastic/silicone part positioned in a way that meant when I closed the bottle, the plastic/silicone was immersed in the water on the inside of the bottle. The silicone ring with this bottle is well placed and touches the top of the mouthpiece. The water tastes great and clean from it. Its very durable. Despite it being 1L, its a short bottle and so fits easily in my thin backpack, vertically or horizontally. My backpack doesnt have side pockets for bottles so I havent tried it with those. The bottle is not very wide and is comfortable to hold in my hand especially around the thin neck of the bottle. The handle attached to the bottle cap seems durable though I havent used it much. I was debating between similar products by Elephant Box, Klean Kanteen and Sigg. Elephant Box had a worse logo and the neck of the bottle was thinner and therefore it seemed it would be harder to clean. It was a bit more expensive and the only size higher than 750ml was out of stock. Klean Kanteen had no higher than 800ml and was much more expensive. Sigg had no higher than 750ml and was a bit more expensive. Also it had no neck to the bottle so it seemed it would be harder to hold in my hand as I would likely have to use a wider grip.

Ich bin mit der Bambaw Edelstahlflasche sehr zufrieden. Die Flasche ist angenehm leicht und lässt sich dadurch gut im Alltag, beim Sport oder unterwegs mitnehmen. Besonders wichtig war mir, dass sie wirklich dicht ist – und genau das erfüllt sie bisher sehr gut. Es tropft nichts, der Verschluss hält zuverlässig und ich hatte bisher keinerlei Probleme im Rucksack oder in der Tasche. Auch der Griffhenkel macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Gerade wenn man die Flasche öfter mitnimmt oder schnell greifen möchte, ist das sehr praktisch. Die Verarbeitung wirkt insgesamt hochwertig und langlebig. Positiv: Sehr leicht Hält absolut dicht Kein Tropfen oder Auslaufen Zuverlässiger Verschluss Stabiler Griffhenkel Gute Verarbeitung Ideal für Alltag, Sport und unterwegs Negativ: Bisher nichts aufgefallen Fazit: Eine wirklich gute Edelstahlflasche, die genau das macht, was sie soll. Sie ist leicht, dicht und praktisch zu tragen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen. Klare 5 Sterne.

Great article, but I also used it as a coffee thermos and it is clearly nót a thermos! Outside was scoulding. My mistake but I thought I would post it here so others know this as well. Otherwise, 10/10, great value for money it looks really nice

The size of this water bottle, 500ml, is great for carrying it around in your backpack. It’s light (why I didn’t buy the insulated one), and has enough water so that you are not annoyed by how much you have to fill it. Sure, it’s not going to last you all day, and that’s the point. I bought it to last throughout a class, or a workout. Then I fill it up whenever there’s a fountain near. My school has a lot. I also brought this one because there is zero microplastics (the seal between the cap is a silicone gasket (no plastic at all on the cap)). Also the 204 stainless steal version will not seep toxic chemicals into your water. And will remain resilient. The coating (paint) used on the outside is also surprisingly durable, surely it will eventually chip or scratch. It has not yet though. I really wanted a glass bottle (for its inertness), but they are not durable, too heavy, and there didn’t seam to be any with no plastic on the cap. This metal one was cheap, good quality, and keeps you healthy. Drinking from the lid, you may spill some on your face. But only a few times before you realize how to never do that again. The inner diameter of the opening is 4.5 centimetres (it’s pretty small compared to a regular glass cup) which does make drinking a bit easier. I would much rather have this opening than a plastic straw or lid with a flip up drinking apparatus. I like this bottle a lot.
