Why is there so much B12 in here? It seems like overkill.

Dr. Northrup specifically wanted this level of B12 in her formulation because older adults often experience deficiency due to the fact that the body does not produce B12 on its own. Vitamin B12 in combination with B6 and folic acid has been shown to control high levels of homocysteine in the blood, which can often increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. For those women who prefer to get their B12 elsewhere, we also offer a product called Pueraria Mirifica Pure, which does not contain the other nutrients included in PM Plus. How long does it take to get noticeable results?

This is a dietary supplement and since every woman is unique, results can vary from woman to woman. Dr. Northrup recommends starting a journal as often changes happen gradually and a journal is a great way to keep track.
