Macrame 2: Accessories, Homewares & More – How to Take Your Knotting to the Next Level

I'm old enough to remember doing 70's style macrame projects (including a hanging table in olive green poly rope...ugh!) These books are soooo not that! Thank goodness! I bought this book as well as the 1st one, Macrame and love, love, love them both. If you like the boho style you will love them too. The books themselves are beautifully put together. Clear beautifully pictures and precise illustrations and instructions so any project is doable. I'm mostly excited for the projects. When the books first arrived and I was leafing through them I found several projects in each book that I will be tackling. If you're not into the boho look, these books are worth it just for the instructions and illustrations for all the knots you'd ever need for any macrame project. I can't recommend these books enough. Get both!

the book is great1 finally found a book with some really nice wall hangings patterns ,thankyou 1 started macrame in my 20 . i am now 75 and decided to take it up again. i have wall a hanging in my bathroom that has been there for 40 years and i still love it. now i see so many beautfull things people are doing that they didnt do back in my day.it was pretty simple stuff. i love what i see now

So glad my books arrived. I ordered used and the books are in excellent condition. Pictures and easy instructions to help you complete the projects.

I bought both of her books and there are really detailed instructions of beautiful projects. My only gripe, and it could be because I am a bit if a beginner, is to use a little more cord than required. Example: I am currently working in the Esperanza plant hanger (shown in the description above) and it calls for 4 sections of clove hitches using 12 cords at 5 meters each. I cut all cords exact and I won’t have enough room for the complete 4th section on each arm to even do the basket portion. Like I said, I could just be a n00b but use more cord otherwise you will get to add in extra cord in each arm.

I'm so happy I purchased these. The instructions exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to start one of the many beautiful projects.

Buy this book. Not only is it incredibly detailed and easy to follow, its also just freaking beautiful. Even if I wasn't planning to make things in the book, I feel like I could use as a coffee table book. The photos are gorgeous. I haven't started a project yet but it seems like it will be amazing. I'm excited!!!

Un libro stupendo per le amanti del macramé! Oltre ad avere le spiegazioni di alcuni progetti stupendi è anche un piacere per gli occhi, consigliatissimo

This is really a niche book. If you are done with EVERY project that "simply" uses yarn and the 10 basic knots in every variety, you can buy this. It covers everything from very advanced knots to botanical dying and mixing and weaving cord with other materials. Not for the faint of heart! I doubted quite a lot whether I'd return it or not. It's a nice book but it is not a "project orientated" one. It assumes you can design projects for yourself. Aren't there any patterns inside? Yes, but again it feels like they give you a template to build on. Most projects aren't "ready for use" (unless you live in Ibiza like a true bohemian). I felt it would probably sit forever on a shelf (botanical dying? Weaving? Ummm... No). It deserved better.

Me encanta, muy completo, para macramakers un poco más avanzadas. Proyectos muy bonitos.

Super livre ! J'ai déjà le premier et celui-ci est une bonne suite (pas de doublés que des nouveautés). Trés bonnes explications. C'est un livre de qualité !
