SO, reading all these reviews I was very skeptical and unsure about this purchase but went ahead with in anyways because to me it was the best money could buy at this price point. Boss Audio is an American company too, which helped ease my mind. Anyways it came packaged up as any brand new product. All wiring is labeled so you know what is what BUT it will not tell you what the wires are for your specific vehicle, that's up to you to find out. Also, you must know how to install these units. I feel that so many negative reviews are from people that are not educated in vehicle electronics and wiring. The newer your vehicle the harder it probably will be to install and The less experience you have, the harder it will be to install. Do your homework, know what your doing, test it BEFORE putting it all away into the dash. One review on here stated that on Chevy trucks the screen will interfere with the shift lever in the Park position. This is true on my 2001 Suburban, but it is nobodies fault and what I would call an undesirable characteristic. The screen stops itself if anything interferes with its operation. I try and stay aware and make sure it's closed before exiting the vehicle. It opens just fine, just gets caught up on the lever in the PARK position when the screen is folding in to close. All in all, this is a great little unit that packs a lot of features and sounds amazing. My suburban had aftermarket audio and video installed when it was new. With aftermarket amps that controlled everything. With this I was able to hook up the amps for the speakers and subs with the RCA cable hook ups. So it worked out perfectly in my situation. I also hooked up two existing DVD headrests to this unit, it works flawlessly and great because I can control and see what's going on while I'm driving. Although I don't think you should be watching TV while driving, I had to hook it up this way so I could run the rear screens while driving. Then I just close my screen and let the kids watch. Ive seen enough of Daniel Tiger the way it is.

This product for the price is simply amazing. It was a snap to install with an additionally purchased dash kit. The dash kit came with a harness and that was also a plus. This item has a decent enough screen that it's awesome to watch movies and interact with the unit through the touch screen. The iPod menu could use a better GUI as you have to scroll endlessly for your song. other than that, connectivity was simple and immediate. Plug and play. The radio station all come in strong and clear and there are several options to correct any signal anomalies. This unit has no separate bass, mid or treble controls. It comes with a preset EQ's. I believe that you can EQ the movies better though. I purchased and additional back up camera to add to this unit and it displays that very nicely. 85 watts a channel and a lot of extra connectors for front, rear and sub amps. This unit will "stand alone" power a set of 4 x 125 watt speakers nicely. Although lacking in audio tone controls, this unit does sound clear, clean and loud. You have to trick-wire the unit to see the rear view camera image or DVD movies while driving (Not suggested) as the manual dictates that you should wire the unit up to the reverse (camera)/brake (DVD Video) lights in order for the video to show. DVD's play great and is simple to use. DVD audio is awesome as well. Lots of bass from all sources.This unit has a lot of very cool features like the Bluetooth connectivity for step by step GPS audio directions and hands free phone calling (which works perfectly) as well as the voice calling feature. Bluetooth audio will not work with Bluetooth GPS voice guidance at the same time. But that is alright as you shouldn't listen to two things at the same time....or can you? lol!! All in all, I would just want better tone controls. STILL, I am very satisfied with this product.

I replaced an old CD player in my Jeep TJ with this. I read countless reviews on about every type of flip out single din player on the market. Proce wasnt a huge factor but after speaking to a friend who had the same one and reading the reviews all over the net on this one I chose it and couldn't be much happier. It's very high quality for the price and works very well. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because when using the DVD function it formats movies to widescreen instead of using the entire screen. Admittedly I didnt read the instructions and may be doing something wrong here. Ut I have searched every function and cant seem to change this. Also, it doesnt seem to pick up radio stations very well and there doesnt seem to be a way to program one without it running a search scan. I didnt have any issue with my last one picking up local stations so not sure why this one doesnt pick up stations. Not that big a deal though for me as I always only use my bluetooth to stream music from my playlists anyways. Speaking of the bluetooth connection it was a breeze and works perfectly. This is a great radio for the price and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to purchase one on a budget.

boss audio et connue pour sa qualité voila un autoradio qui ne fait pas déception la radio a un bonne réception, le son avec son égaliseur et d'une qualité a coupé le souffre le système Bluetooth fonctionne bien. Sa fonction contrôle au volant et d'une très bonne invention a vraie dire BOSS réaliser un super autoradio
