I'am 5'9'' weight 140, and slim. what size would you recommend? I like the red.

I am 5'9" and weigh 225. After returning my initial order (I ordered the Black and Gray in size XL), because it was too small. So, I reordered a XXL in all Black and it fits great!! For your dimension I would recommend a Large.

Is it possible to fasten the jacket to keep it closed?

This is a beautifully made jacket and looks awesome on but unfortunately it does not fasten closed.
