You wont get any tilt feature as you'll need to fully tighten that hinge but for the cost difference to the Ergotron and the fact that i'd probably never use the tilt feature I am very pleased with the arm. I've also had the mount extended to various parts of the desk and have had no issue with range of movement or weight balance.
