Works well with my 39 inch widescreen monitor. Very strong and stable in use. However . . . if your monitor's VESA mount holes are in a recess on the back of the monitor, the mounting plate will not fit into the recess since the VESA plate is 120mm x 127mm, not the standard 120 square. I have no idea why they made the plate like this - every other VESA plate I have seen fits the recess behind my monitor. This may not be a problem, depending on the mounting method at the back of your monitor - so check first. I solved the problem by getting my angle grinder out and removing about 3mm of material from each end of the plate, but not everyone will be able to do this, and I have almost certainly voided my warranty by doing so. However, with this modification, the mount works very well for me and is exactly what I wanted.
